Evangelij po Mateju
Mt 9,9-13Mt 9,9-13
English: World English Bible - WEB
9 As Jesus passed by from there, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax collection office. He said to him, “Follow me.” He got up and followed him.
10 It happened as he sat in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Jesus and his disciples.
11 When the Pharisees saw it, they said to his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”
12 When Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.
13 But you go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,’ for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

1 I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called,
2 with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love;
3 being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you also were called in one hope of your calling;
5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in us all.
7 But to each one of us was the grace given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
11 He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds The word for “shepherds” can also be correctly translated “pastors.” and teachers;
12 for the perfecting of the saints, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Christ;
13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

Opomin k edinosti
1 Zato vas jaz, jetnik v Gospodu, opominjam, da živite vredno klica, s katerim ste bili poklicani, 2 v vsej ponižnosti, krotkosti in potrpežljivosti.
|
| 11 In on je dal, da so nekateri apostoli, drugi preroki, spet drugi oznanjevalci evangelija, spet drugi pastirji in učitelji, 12 da se sveti usposobijo za delo služenja, za izgrajevanje Kristusovega telesa, 13 dokler vsi ne pridemo do edinosti vere in do spoznanja Božjega Sina, do popolnega človeka, do mere doraslosti Kristusove polnosti. |

2 Day after day they pour forth speech,
And night after night they display knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language,
Where their voice is not heard.
4 Their voice has gone out through all the earth,
Their words to the end of the world.
In them he has set a tent for the sun,
5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
Like a strong man rejoicing to run his course.

20 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David. 1 May Yahweh answer you in the day of trouble. May the name of the God of Jacob set you up on high, 2 Send you help from the sanctuary, Grant you support from Zion, 3 Remember all your offerings, And accept your burnt sacrifice. Selah. 4 May He grant you your heart’s desire, And fulfill all your counsel. 5 We will triumph in your salvation. In the name of our God we will set up our banners: May Yahweh grant all your requests. 6 Now I know that Yahweh saves his anointed. He will answer him from his holy heaven, With the saving strength of his right hand. 7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, But we trust the name of Yahweh our God. 8 They are bowed down and fallen, But we rise up, and stand upright. 9 Save, Yahweh; Let the King answer us when we call!

Daje nam jo v svoji besedi, daritvi in svetem obhajilu.
Bog je ljubezen. Našo svobodo je treba povezovati z našo ljubeznijo do Boga. Čim bolj smo v ljubezni, tem bolj smo svobodni, tem manj moremo grešiti. Sv. Avguštin uči: “Ljubi in delaj , kar hočeš!”
To potrjuje izjava nekega fanta:
“Svoj odnos s Kristusom doživljam celostno. On me osvobaja v celoti, totalno: v vseh razsežnostih življenja.
“Dal sem se zapreti me štiri stene svoje nove svobode. Svoboden sem. Pripadam Bogu in ne več samemu sebi; in pripadati Bogu pomeni

30 They went out from there, and passed through Galilee. He didn’t want anyone to know it.
31 For he was teaching his disciples, and said to them, “The Son of Man is being handed over to the hands of men, and they will kill him; and when he is killed, on the third day he will rise again.”
32 But they didn’t understand the saying, and were afraid to ask him.
33 He came to Capernaum, and when he was in the house he asked them, “What were you arguing among yourselves on the way?”
34 But they were silent, for they had disputed one with another on the way about who was the greatest.
35 He sat down, and called the twelve; and he said to them, “If any man wants to be first, he shall be last of all, and servant of all.”
36 He took a little child, and set him in the midst of them. Taking him in his arms, he said to them,
37 “Whoever receives one such little child in my name, receives me, and whoever receives me, doesn’t receive me, but him who sent me.”

19 S sramotenjem in mučenjem ga preizkusimo,

16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

1 Where do wars and fightings among you come from? Don’t they come from your pleasures that war in your members?
2 You lust, and don’t have. You kill, covet, and can’t obtain. You fight and make war. You don’t have, because you don’t ask.
3 You ask, and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures.

2 Želite, a nimate.

Yahweh’s commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes. 9 The fear of Yahweh is clean, enduring forever. Yahweh’s ordinances are true, and righteous altogether. 10 More to be desired are they than gold, yes, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the extract of the honeycomb. 11 Moreover by them is your servant warned. In keeping them there is great reward. 12 Who can discern his errors? Forgive me from hidden errors. 13 Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins. Let them not have dominion over me. Then I will be upright, I will be blameless and innocent of great transgression. 14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in your sight, Yahweh, my rock, and my redeemer.
