10 if you shall obey the voice of Yahweh your God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law; if you turn to Yahweh your God with all your heart, and with all your soul.
11 For this commandment which I command you this day, it is not too hard for you, neither is it far off.
12 It is not in heaven, that you should say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it to us, and make us to hear it, that we may do it?
13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that you should say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it to us, and make us to hear it, that we may do it?
14 But the word is very near to you, in your mouth, and in your heart, that you may do it.

10 če boš poslušal glas GOSPODA, svojega Boga, in izpolnjeval njegove zapovedi in zakone, zapisane v tej knjigi postave, če se z vsem srcem in vso dušo povrneš h GOSPODU, svojemu Bogu.

English: World English Bible - WEB
2 I sink in deep mire, where there is no foothold.
I have come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.
3 I am weary with my crying.
My throat is dry.
My eyes fail, looking for my God.
4 Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head.
Those who want to cut me off, being my enemies wrongfully, are mighty.
I have to restore what I didn’t take away.
5 God, you know my foolishness.
My sins aren’t hidden from you.
6 Don’t let those who wait for you be shamed through me, Lord Yahweh of Armies.
Don’t let those who seek you be brought to dishonor through me, God of Israel.
7 Because for your sake, I have borne reproach.
Shame has covered my face.
8 I have become a stranger to my brothers,
An alien to my mother’s children.
9 For the zeal of your house consumes me.
The reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen on me.
10 When I wept and I fasted,
That was to my reproach.
11 When I made sackcloth my clothing,
I became a byword to them.
12 Those who sit in the gate talk about me.
I am the song of the drunkards.
13 But as for me, my prayer is to you, Yahweh, in an acceptable time.
God, in the abundance of your loving kindness, answer me in the truth of your salvation.
14 Deliver me out of the mire, and don’t let me sink.
Let me be delivered from those who hate me, and out of the deep waters.
15 Don’t let the flood waters overwhelm me,
Neither let the deep swallow me up.
Don’t let the pit shut its mouth on me.
16 Answer me, Yahweh, for your loving kindness is good.
According to the multitude of your tender mercies, turn to me.
17 Don’t hide your face from your servant,
For I am in distress.
Answer me speedily!
18 Draw near to my soul, and redeem it.
Ransom me because of my enemies.
19 You know my reproach, my shame, and my dishonor.
My adversaries are all before you.
20 Reproach has broken my heart, and I am full of heaviness.
I looked for some to take pity, but there was none;
For comforters, but I found none.
21 They also gave me gall for my food.
In my thirst, they gave me vinegar to drink.
22 Let their table before them become a snare.
May it become a retribution and a trap.
23 Let their eyes be darkened, so that they can’t see.
Let their backs be continually bent.
24 Pour out your indignation on them.
Let the fierceness of your anger overtake them.
25 Let their habitation be desolate.
Let no one dwell in their tents.
26 For they persecute him whom you have wounded.
They tell of the sorrow of those whom you have hurt.
27 Charge them with crime upon crime.
Don’t let them come into your righteousness.
28 Let them be blotted out of the book of life,
And not be written with the righteous.
29 But I am in pain and distress.
Let your salvation, God, protect me.
30 I will praise the name of God with a song,
And will magnify him with thanksgiving.
31 It will please Yahweh better than an ox,
Or a bull that has horns and hoofs.
32 The humble have seen it, and are glad.
You who seek after God, let your heart live.
33 For Yahweh hears the needy,
And doesn’t despise his captive people.
34 Let heaven and earth praise him;
The seas, and everything that moves therein!
35 For God will save Zion, and build the cities of Judah.
They shall settle there, and own it.
36 The children also of his servants shall inherit it.
Those who love his name shall dwell therein.

Klic iz velike stiske
2 Reši me, o Bog,
kajti voda mi sega že do grla.
3 Pogreznil sem se globoko v blato
in ni trdnih tal;
prišel sem v globine vode,
odplavlja me vrtinec.
4 Utrudil sem se z vpitjem,
moje grlo je hripavo;
ki me sovražijo brez vzroka;
močni so tisti, ki me hočejo utišati,
moji lažnivi sovražniki;
česar nisem naropal,
naj bi zdaj vračal.
6 O Bog, ti poznaš mojo nespamet,
moje krivde ti niso prikrite.
7 Naj ne bodo osramočeni zaradi mene, kateri upajo vate,
o Gospod, BOG nad vojskami;
o Izraelov Bog.
8 Zakaj zaradi tebe prenašam sramotenje,
obraz mi pokriva zasramovanje.
9 Tujec sem postal svojim bratom,
neznanec sinovom svoje matere.
10 Zakaj gorečnost za tvojo hišo me použiva,
sramotenja tvojih sramotilcev so padla name.
11 Če sem v postu izjokal svojo dušo,
mi je bilo v sramotenje.
12 Če sem si za obleko nadel raševino,
sem pri njih prišel v pregovor.
13 O meni govoričijo tisti, ki sedijo ob vratih,
pobrenkavajo si tisti, ki pijejo opojno pijačo.
14 Jaz pa svojo molitev naslavljam nate, o GOSPOD,
v času dobrohotnosti, o Bog.
V obilju svoje dobrote me usliši,
16 Naj me ne odplavi tok vode,
naj me ne pogoltne globina,
naj vodnjak ne zapre svojega žrela nad mano!
17 Usliši me, GOSPOD, zakaj tvoja dobrota je obilna,
zakaj tesno mi je, hitro me usliši!
19 Približaj se moji duši, odkupi jo,
zaradi mojih sovražnikov me reši!
20 Ti poznaš mojo nečast, sramoto in zasramovanje,
pred teboj so vsi moji nasprotniki.
21 Sramotenje mi je strlo srce, da sem neozdravljiv;
pričakoval sem sočutja, a ga ni bilo,
tolažnikov, a jih nisem našel.
22 V hrano so mi dali strupa,
za mojo žejo so me napajali s kisom.
23 Njihova miza naj postane pred njimi zanka,
ko so v miru, naj postane past.
25 Izlij nanje svojo togoto,
tvoja srdita jeza naj jih zajame.
26 Njihov tabor naj postane pustinja,
v njihovih šotorih naj nihče ne prebiva.
27 Zakaj tistega, ki si ga ti udaril, preganjajo,
pripovedujejo si o ranah tvojih prebodenih.
28 Nalagaj jim krivdo na krivdo
in naj ne bodo deležni tvoje pravičnosti.
29 Naj bodo izbrisani iz knjige življenja,
naj ne bodo zapisani med pravične.
30 Jaz pa sem nesrečen in prenašam bolečine,
tvoja pomoč, o Bog, naj me povzdigne.
31 Hvalil bom Božje ime s pesmijo,
poveličeval ga bom z zahvalo.
32 GOSPODU to bolj ugaja kakor vol,
bik z rogovi in parklji.
33 Ponižni vidijo, veselijo se;
vi, ki iščete Boga, naj oživi vaše srce.
34 Zakaj GOSPOD posluša uboge,
svojih jetnikov ne zaničuje.
35 Naj ga hvalijo nebesa in zemlja,
morja in vse, kar se v njih giblje.
36 Zakaj Bog bo rešil Sion
in pozidal mesta Judove dežele,
da bodo prebivali tam in jo podedovali.
37 Zarod njegovih služabnikov jo bo podedoval,
kateri njegovo ime ljubijo, bodo v njej prebivali.

15 who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
16 For by him were all things created, in the heavens and on the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and for him.
17 He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.
18 He is the head of the body, the assembly, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

25 Behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested him, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”
26 He said to him, “What is written in the law? How do you read it?”
27 He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”
28 He said to him, “You have answered correctly. Do this, and you will live.”
29 But he, desiring to justify himself, asked Jesus, “Who is my neighbor?”
30 Jesus answered, “A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who both stripped him and beat him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
31 By chance a certain priest was going down that way. When he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32 In the same way a Levite also, when he came to the place, and saw him, passed by on the other side.
33 But a certain Samaritan, as he traveled, came where he was. When he saw him, he was moved with compassion,
34 came to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. He set him on his own animal, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, and gave them to the host, and said to him, ‘Take care of him. Whatever you spend beyond that, I will repay you when I return.’
36 Now which of these three do you think seemed to be a neighbor to him who fell among the robbers?”
37 He said, “He who showed mercy on him.”
Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”

Ti so ga slekli, pretepli, pustili napol mrtvega in odšli. 34 Stopil je k njemu, zlil olja in vina na njegove rane in jih obvezal.

in vodi k obojestranskemu miru.
Odpuščanje spreminja nas in druge
, spreminja svet in družbo.

1 In the year that king Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up; and his train filled the temple.
2 Above him stood the seraphim. Each one had six wings. With two he covered his face. With two he covered his feet. With two he flew.
3 One called to another, and said,
“Holy, holy, holy, is Yahweh of Armies!
The whole earth is full of his glory!”
4 The foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke.
5 Then I said, “Woe is me! For I am undone, because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for my eyes have seen the King, Yahweh of Armies!”
6 Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar.
7 He touched my mouth with it, and said, “Behold, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away, and your sin forgiven.”
8 I heard the Lord’s voice, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?”
Then I said, “Here I am. Send me!”

3 Drug drugemu so vzklikali in govorili:
»Svet, svet, svet je GOSPOD nad vojskami,
vsa zemlja je polna njegovega veličastva!«
4 Podboji vrat so se stresali od glasu vzklikajočih in svetišče je bilo polno dima. 5 Tedaj sem rekel: »Gorje mi, izgubljen sem, ker sem mož z nečistimi ustnicami, prebivam sredi ljudstva z nečistimi ustnicami in so moje oči videle kralja, GOSPODA nad vojskami!«

24 “A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his lord.
25 It is enough for the disciple that he be like his teacher, and the servant like his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more those of his household!
26 Therefore don’t be afraid of them, for there is nothing covered that will not be revealed; and hidden that will not be known.
27 What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in the ear, proclaim on the housetops.
28 Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.
29 “Aren’t two sparrows sold for an assarion An assarion is a small coin worth one tenth of a drachma or a sixteenth of a denarius .? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father’s will,
30 but the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.
32 Everyone therefore who confesses me before men, him I will also confess before my Father who is in heaven.
33 But whoever denies me before men, him I will also deny before my Father who is in heaven.
