Sv.Favstina je zapisala v svoj Dnevnik:
“Jezus – živa hostija, ti si moja mati, ti si mi vse. S preprostostjo in ljubeznijo, z vero in zaupanjem bom prihajala k tebi, Jezus;
vse bom delila s teboj kakor otrok z ljubečo materjo – veselje in trpljenje, z eno besedo – vse.”
Jezus v Favstininem Dnevniku govori grešniku:
“Moj otrok, zakaj se bojiš usmiljenega Boga? Svetost me ne ovira, da bi ne bil usmiljen do tebe. Glej, človek, zate sem na zemlji postavil prestol usmiljenja. Ta prestol je tabernakelj in s tega prestola usmiljenja želim stopiti v tvoje srce. Glej, nisem se obdal ne s spremstvom ne s stražo. Vsak trenutek imaš dostop do mene. Ob vsakem dnevnem času si želim pogovarjati s teboj in te obsipati z milostmi.”

1. Petrovo pismo
1 Pt 1,18-251 Pt 1,18-25

18 knowing that you were redeemed, not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, from the useless way of life handed down from your fathers,
19 but with precious blood, as of a faultless and pure lamb, the blood of Christ;
20 who was foreknown indeed before the foundation of the world, but was revealed at the end of times for your sake,
21 who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead, and gave him glory; so that your faith and hope might be in God.
22 Seeing you have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth through the Spirit in sincere brotherly affection, love one another from the heart fervently:
23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which lives and remains forever.
24 For,
“All flesh is like grass,
And all of man’s glory like the flower in the grass.
The grass withers, and its flower falls;
25 But the Lord’s word endures forever.”
This is the word of good news which was preached to you.

in vse njegovo veličastvo kot cvet trave.
Trava ovene,
cvet se osuje.
25 Gospodova beseda pa ostane na veke.
To je beseda, ki vam je bila oznanjena kot veselo oznanilo.

31 But many who are first will be last; and the last first.”
32 They were on the way, going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus was going in front of them, and they were amazed; and those who followed were afraid. He again took the twelve, and began to tell them the things that were going to happen to him.
33 “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem. The Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and the scribes. They will condemn him to death, and will deliver him to the Gentiles.
34 They will mock him, spit on him, scourge him, and kill him. On the third day he will rise again.”
35 James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came near to him, saying, “Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we will ask.”
36 He said to them, “What do you want me to do for you?”
37 They said to him, “Grant to us that we may sit, one at your right hand, and one at your left hand, in your glory.”
38 But Jesus said to them, “You don’t know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I drink, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?”
39 They said to him, “We are able.”
Jesus said to them, “You shall indeed drink the cup that I drink, and you shall be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with;
40 but to sit at my right hand and at my left hand is not mine to give, but for whom it has been prepared.”
41 When the ten heard it, they began to be indignant towards James and John.
42 Jesus summoned them, and said to them, “You know that they who are recognized as rulers over the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.
43 But it shall not be so among you, but whoever wants to become great among you shall be your servant.
44 Whoever of you wants to become first among you, shall be bondservant of all.
45 For the Son of Man also came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Jezus tretjič napove svojo smrt in vstajenje
32 Bili so na poti v Jeruzalem in Jezus je hodil pred njimi.
Čudili so se, tisti pa, ki so ga spremljali, so se bali. Spet je vzel dvanajstere k sebi in jim začel govoriti, kaj se bo zgodilo z njim. 33 Rekel je: »Glejte! V Jeruzalem gremo in Sin človekov bo izročen vélikim duhovnikom in pismoukom. Obsodili ga bodo na smrt in izročili poganom. 34 In zasmehovali ga bodo, pljuvali vanj, ga bičali in umorili, toda po treh dneh bo vstal.«
Čudili so se, tisti pa, ki so ga spremljali, so se bali. Spet je vzel dvanajstere k sebi in jim začel govoriti, kaj se bo zgodilo z njim. 33 Rekel je: »Glejte! V Jeruzalem gremo in Sin človekov bo izročen vélikim duhovnikom in pismoukom. Obsodili ga bodo na smrt in izročili poganom. 34 In zasmehovali ga bodo, pljuvali vanj, ga bičali in umorili, toda po treh dneh bo vstal.«Jakobova in Janezova prošnja
35 Zebedejeva sinova Jakob in Janez sta stopila k njemu in mu rekla: »Učitelj, želiva, da nama storiš, kar te bova prosila.« 36 Rekel jima je: »Kaj hočeta, da vama storim?« 37 Rekla sta mu: »Daj nama, da bova sedela v tvoji slavi, eden na tvoji desnici in eden na tvoji levici.« 38 Jezus jima je dejal: »Ne vesta, kaj prosita. Ali moreta piti kelih, ki ga jaz pijem, ali biti krščena s krstom, s katerim sem jaz krščen?« 39 Rekla sta mu: »Moreva.« In Jezus jima je dejal: »Kelih, ki ga jaz pijem, bosta pila, in s krstom, s katerim sem jaz krščen, bosta krščena; 40 dati, kdo bo sedèl na moji desnici ali levici, pa ni moja stvar, ampak bo dano tistim, ki jim je to pripravljeno.« 41 Ko je drugih deset to slišalo, so se začeli jeziti na Jakoba in Janeza. 42 Jezus jih je poklical k sebi in jim rekel: »Veste, da tisti, ki veljajo za vladarje, gospodujejo nad narodi in da jim njihovi velikaši vladajo. 43 Med vami pa naj ne bo tako, ampak kdor hoče postati velik med vami, naj bo vaš strežnik, 44 in kdor hoče biti prvi med vami, naj bo vsem služabnik. 45 Saj tudi Sin človekov ni prišel, da bi mu stregli, ampak da bi stregel in dal svoje življenje v odkupnino za mnoge.«
