Izaija 50,4-7Izaija 50,4-7
English: World English Bible - WEB
4 The Lord Yahweh has given me the tongue of those who are taught, that I may know how to sustain with words him who is weary: he wakens morning by morning, he wakens my ear to hear as those who are taught.
5 The Lord Yahweh has opened my ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away backward.
6 I gave my back to the strikers, and my cheeks to those who plucked off the hair; I didn’t hide my face from shame and spitting.
7 For the Lord Yahweh will help me; therefore I have not been confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be disappointed.

Tretji spev o GOSPODOVEM služabniku
4 Gospod BOG mi je dal
jezik učencev:
da bi znal krepiti omagujoče,
zgodaj zbuja besedo,
zgodaj mi zbuja uho,
da prisluhnem kakor učenci.
5 Gospod BOG mi je odprl uho
in jaz se nisem upiral,
nisem se umaknil nazaj.
6 Svoj hrbet sem nastavljal tistim, ki so me bíli,
svoje lice tistim, ki so mi pulili brado.
Svojega obraza nisem skrival
pred sramotenjem in pljunki.
7 Gospod BOG mi pomaga,
zato se nisem dal zmesti.
Zato sem naredil svoj obraz kakor kremen,
saj sem vedel, da ne bom osramočen.

8 Vsi, ki me vidijo, me zasmehujejo,
kremžijo ustnice, zmajujejo z glavo:
9 »Prepustil se je GOSPODU, naj ga osvobodi,
naj ga reši, saj ima z njim veselje.«
|
17 Obkrožili so me psi,
drhal hudobnežev me je obkolila;
prebodli so mi roke in noge.
18 Lahko preštejem vse svoje kosti,
oni gledajo, buljijo vame.
19 Razdeljujejo si moja oblačila
in za mojo suknjo žrebajo.
20 Ti pa, GOSPOD, ne bodi daleč!
Moja moč, hiti mi pomagat!
|
23 Oznanjal bom tvoje ime svojim bratom,
sredi zbora te bom hvalil.
24 Tisti, ki se bojite GOSPODA, hvalite ga,
ves Jakobov zarod, častite ga,
trepetajte pred njim, ves Izraelov rod.

in postal podoben ljudem.
in mu podaril ime,
ki je nad vsakim imenom,
10 da se v Jezusovem imenu
pripogne vsako koleno bitij
v nebesih, na zemlji in pod zemljo
11 in da vsak jezik izpove,
da je Jezus Kristus Gospod,
v slavo Boga Očeta.

Evangelij po Luku
Lk 22,14-23Lk 22,14-23
English: World English Bible - WEB
14 When the hour had come, he sat down with the twelve apostles.
15 He said to them, “I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer,
16 for I tell you, I will no longer by any means eat of it until it is fulfilled in the Kingdom of God.”
17 He received a cup, and when he had given thanks, he said, “Take this, and share it among yourselves,
18 for I tell you, I will not drink at all again from the fruit of the vine, until the Kingdom of God comes.”
19 He took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and gave to them, saying, “This is my body which is given for you. Do this in memory of me.”
20 Likewise, he took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.
21 But behold, the hand of him who betrays me is with me on the table.
22 The Son of Man indeed goes, as it has been determined, but woe to that man through whom he is betrayed!”
23 They began to question among themselves, which of them it was who would do this thing.

“Hodite torej k obhajilu, otroci, hodite k Jezusu z ljubeznijo in zaupanjem!
Res ga niste vredni, a ga potrebujete.

English: World English Bible - WEB
21 Say to them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, where they are gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
22 and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all; and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all;
23 neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will save them out of all their dwelling-places, in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.
24 My servant David shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my ordinances, and observe my statutes, and do them.
25 They shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob my servant, in which your fathers lived; and they shall dwell therein, they, and their children, and their children’s children, forever: and David my servant shall be their prince for ever.
26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them forevermore.
27 My tent also shall be with them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
28 The nations shall know that I am Yahweh who sanctifies Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them forevermore.

| 21 reci jim: Tako govori Gospod BOG: glejte, vzel bom Izraelove sinove izmed narodov, kamor so odšli, jih zbral z vseh strani in jih pripeljal na njihovo zemljo. Rešil jih bom vseh odpadov, s katerimi so se pregrešili, in jih očistil: moje ljudstvo bodo in jaz bom njihov Bog.
24 Moj služabnik David bo kralj nad njimi; vsi bodo imeli enega pastirja. Po mojih odlokih se bodo ravnali in mojih zakonov se bodo držali in jih izpolnjevali. 25 Prebivali bodo v deželi, ki sem jo dal svojemu služabniku Jakobu in so v njej prebivali njihovi očetje. Prebivali bodo v njej sami, njihovi otroci in otroci njihovih otrok na veke; moj služabnik David bo njihov knez na veke. 26 Z njimi bom sklenil zavezo miru: to bo večna zaveza z njimi.

spričo žita, novega vina in svežega olja,
spričo mlade drobnice in goveda.
Njihovo življenje je kakor obilno namakan vrt,
onemoglost se jih ne loti več.
13 Tedaj se razveseli dekle pri plesu
in mladeniči in starci obenem.
Njihovo žalovanje spremenim v veselje,
po stiski jih potolažim in razveselim.

Evangelij po Janezu
Jn 11,45-57Jn 11,45-57
English: World English Bible - WEB
45 Therefore many of the Jews, who came to Mary and saw what Jesus did, believed in him.
46 But some of them went away to the Pharisees, and told them the things which Jesus had done.
47 The chief priests therefore and the Pharisees gathered a council, and said, “What are we doing? For this man does many signs.
48 If we leave him alone like this, everyone will believe in him, and the Romans will come and take away both our place and our nation.”
49 But a certain one of them, Caiaphas, being high priest that year, said to them, “You know nothing at all,
50 nor do you consider that it is advantageous for us that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation not perish.”
51 Now he didn’t say this of himself, but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation,
52 and not for the nation only, but that he might also gather together into one the children of God who are scattered abroad.
53 So from that day forward they took counsel that they might put him to death.
54 Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews, but departed from there into the country near the wilderness, to a city called Ephraim. He stayed there with his disciples.
55 Now the Passover of the Jews was at hand. Many went up from the country to Jerusalem before the Passover, to purify themselves.
56 Then they sought for Jesus and spoke one with another, as they stood in the temple, “What do you think—that he isn’t coming to the feast at all?”
57 Now the chief priests and the Pharisees had commanded that if anyone knew where he was, he should report it, that they might seize him.
