tako podnevi kakor ponoči!

Božje Jagnje odjemlje grehe sveta. Če bi obhajanje daritve prenehalo samo za trenutek,  bi se tisti hip zrušil svet zaradi svojih pregreh.

15 The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less, than the half shekel, when they give the offering of Yahweh, to make atonement for your souls. 16 You shall take the atonement money from the children of Israel, and shall appoint it for the service of the tent of meeting; that it may be a memorial for the children of Israel before Yahweh, to make atonement for your souls.” 17 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 18 “You shall also make a basin of brass, and the base of it of brass, in which to wash. You shall put it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and you shall put water in it. 19 Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet in it. 20 When they go into the tent of meeting, they shall wash with water, that they not die; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

15 Glej, danes sem položil predte življenje in srečo, smrt in nesrečo, 16 ko sem ti danes zapovedal, da ljubi GOSPODA, svojega Boga, da hôdi po njegovih poteh in izpolnjuj njegove zapovedi, zakone in odloke. Tako boš živel in se množil, in GOSPOD, tvoj Bog, te bo blagoslavljal v deželi, v katero greš, da jo vzameš v last. 17 Če pa se tvoje srce obrne in ne boš poslušal in se boš dal zapeljati, da bi se priklanjal drugim bogovom in jim služil, 18 vam danes naznanjam, da boste gotovo uničeni; ne boste podaljšali dni v deželi, v katero greš, ko greš čez Jordan, da jo vzameš v last. 19 Nebo in zemljo kličem danes za pričo proti vam: predložil sem ti življenje in smrt, blagoslov in prekletstvo. Izberi torej življenje, da boš živel ti in tvoj zarod, 20 tako da ljubiš GOSPODA, svojega Boga, poslušaš njegov glas in se ga držiš. Kajti v tem je tvoje življenje in dolgost tvojih dni, ki jih smeš preživeti v deželi, za katero je GOSPOD prisegel tvojim očetom, Abrahamu, Izaku in Jakobu, da jim jo bo dal.

Dvoje poti življenja


1 Blagor človeku,
ki ne hodi na posvet krivičnikov,
ne stopa na pot grešnikov
in ne seda na klop porogljivcev,
2 temveč se veseli v GOSPODOVI postavi
in premišljuje njegovo postavo podnevi in ponoči.

3 Tak je kakor drevo,
zasajeno ob potokih voda,
ki daje svoj sad ob svojem času
in njegovo listje ne ovene;
vse, kar dela, uspeva.


4 S krivičniki ni tako,
temveč so kakor pleve,
ki jih veter raznaša.

6 Zakaj GOSPOD pozna pot pravičnih,
pot krivičnih pa vodi v pogubo.

22 Rekel je: »Sin človekov mora veliko pretrpeti. Starešine ljudstva, véliki duhovniki in pismouki ga bodo zavrgli in umorili, in tretji dan bo obujen.« 23 Vsem pa je govoril: »Če hoče kdo iti za menoj, naj se odpove sebi in vzame vsak dan svoj križ ter hodi za menoj. 24 Kdor namreč hoče svoje življenje rešiti, ga bo izgubil; kdor pa izgubi svoje življenje zaradi mene, ga bo rešil. 25 Kaj namreč pomaga človeku, če si ves svet pridobi, sebe pa pogubi ali zapravi?
