Dejavno sodelovanje pri evharistični daritvi je odvisno od tega, koliko smo z razumom, s srcem in z vero prodrli v to skrivnost vere.
Arški župnik Janez Vianney 
je to takole izrazil:

koliko je vredna daritev svete maše,

10 Rejoice you with Jerusalem, and be glad for her, all you who love her: rejoice for joy with her, all you who mourn over her;
11 that you may suck and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that you may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
12 For thus says Yahweh, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the nations like an overflowing stream: and you shall suck of it; you shall be borne on the side, and shall be dandled on the knees.
13 As one whom his mother comforts, so will I comfort you; and you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
14 You shall see it, and your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like the tender grass: and the hand of Yahweh shall be known toward his servants; and he will have indignation against his enemies.

10 Veselite se s hčerjo jeruzalemsko,
radujte se nad njo, vsi, ki jo ljubite,
uživajte z njo veselje,
vsi, ki žalujete nad njo,
11 da se nasesate in nasitite
iz prsi njenih tolažb,

24 From there he arose, and went away into the borders of Tyre and Sidon. He entered into a house, and didn’t want anyone to know it, but he couldn’t escape notice.
25 For a woman, whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, having heard of him, came and fell down at his feet.
26 Now the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by race. She begged him that he would cast the demon out of her daughter.
27 But Jesus said to her, “Let the children be filled first, for it is not appropriate to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”
28 But she answered him, “Yes, Lord. Yet even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”
29 He said to her, “For this saying, go your way. The demon has gone out of your daughter.”
30 She went away to her house, and found the child having been laid on the bed, with the demon gone out.

24 Vstal je in od tam šel v pokrajino Tira. Stopil je v neko hišo in je želel, da bi tega nihče ne izvedel, vendar ni mogel ostati skrit. 25 Takoj je slišala o njem žena, katere hčerka je imela nečistega duha, in je prišla ter mu padla pred noge. 26 Žena je bila Grkinja, po rodu Sirofeničanka. Prosila ga je, naj izžene demona iz njene hčere. 27 Govoril ji je: »Pústi, da se najprej nasitijo otroci. Ni lepo jemati kruh otrokom in ga metati psom.« 28 Ona pa je odvrnila z besedami: »Gospod, tudi psi pod mizo jedo drobtinice, ki padajo od otrok.«
 29 Rekel ji je: »Zaradi te besede pojdi, demon je šel iz tvoje hčere.« 30 Odšla je domov in našla deklico, ki je ležala v postelji; in demon je šel iz nje. |
