Jeremija

Jer 1,4-5.17-19Jer 1,4-5.17-19
English: World English Bible - WEB

4 Now the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, 5 Before I formed you in the belly I knew you, and before you came forth out of the womb I sanctified you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations. 17 You therefore gird up your waist, and arise, and speak to them all that I command you: don’t be dismayed at them, lest I dismay you before them. 18 For, behold, I have made you this day a fortified city, and an iron pillar, and brazen walls, against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes of it, against the priests of it, and against the people of the land. 19 They shall fight against you; but they shall not prevail against you: for I am with you, says Yahweh, to deliver you.

Bog pokliče Jeremija za preroka
4 Zgodila se mi je beseda GOSPODOVA, rekoč:
5 »Preden sem te upodobil v materinem telesu, sem te poznal;

Psalmi 71,1-6.15.17Psalmi 71,1-6.15.17
English: World English Bible - WEB

71 1 In you, Yahweh, I take refuge. Never let me be disappointed. 2 Deliver me in your righteousness, and rescue me. Turn your ear to me, and save me. 3 Be to me a rock of refuge to which I may always go. Give the command to save me, For you are my rock and my fortress. 4 Rescue me, my God, from the hand of the wicked, From the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man. 5 For you are my hope, Lord Yahweh; My confidence from my youth. 6 I have relied on you from the womb. You are he who took me out of my mother’s womb. I will always praise you. 15 My mouth will tell about your righteousness, And of your salvation all day, Though I don’t know its full measure. 17 God, you have taught me from my youth. Until now, I have declared your wondrous works.

PSALM 71 (70)
Zau

1 K tebi, GOSPOD, se zatekam,
naj ne bom osramočen na veke.
2 V svoji pravičnosti me reši in osvobodi,
nagni k meni svoje uho in me odreši.
3 Bodi mi utrjena skala,
h kateri lahko vedno pridem.
Odločil si, da me boš odrešil,
zakaj ti si moja skala in moja trdnjava.

4 Moj Bog, osvobodi me iz rok krivičnika,
iz pesti hudobneža in zatiralca;
5 zakaj ti si moje upanje, o Gospod,
moje zaupanje, GOSPOD, od moje mladosti.
6 Nate sem se opiral od materinega telesa,
od naročja moje matere si moj varuh,
tebi velja moja hvalnica za vedno.

15 Moja usta bodo oznanjala tvojo pravičnost,
ves dan tvoje odrešenje,
kajti ne poznam njunega seštevka.

17 O Bog, učil si me od moje mladosti,
do zdaj sem oznanjal tvoja čudovita dela.

1. pismo Korinčanom

1 Kor 12,31-13,131 Kor 12,31-13,13
English: World English Bible - WEB

31 But earnestly desire the best gifts. Moreover, I show a most excellent way to you. 13 1 If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don’t have love, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don’t have love, I am nothing. 3 If I dole out all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don’t have love, it profits me nothing. 4 Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, 5 doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; 6 doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will be done away with. Where there are various languages, they will cease. Where there is knowledge, it will be done away with. 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part; 10 but when that which is complete has come, then that which is partial will be done away with. 11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child. Now that I have become a man, I have put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, even as I was also fully known. 13 But now faith, hope, and love remain—these three. The greatest of these is love.

31 A vendar morate hrepeneti po večjih milostnih darovih. Naj vam pokažem še odličnejšo pot.

Ljubezen

Lk 4,21-30Lk 4,21-30
English: World English Bible - WEB

21 He began to tell them, “Today, this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.” 22 All testified about him, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth, and they said, “Isn’t this Joseph’s son?” 23 He said to them, “Doubtless you will tell me this parable, ‘Physician, heal yourself! Whatever we have heard done at Capernaum, do also here in your hometown.’” 24 He said, “Most assuredly I tell you, no prophet is acceptable in his hometown. 25 But truly I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the sky was shut up three years and six months, when a great famine came over all the land. 26 Elijah was sent to none of them, except to Zarephath, in the land of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow. 27 There were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed, except Naaman, the Syrian.” 28 They were all filled with wrath in the synagogue, as they heard these things. 29 They rose up, threw him out of the city, and led him to the brow of the hill that their city was built on, that they might throw him off the cliff. 30 But he, passing through the midst of them, went his way.

O, to so pač oni,

ko mašnik blesteči

ciborij odpre,

ko z mano se

angelov tisoč

prikloni,

ko hostijo sveto

oko mi zazre.

Najlepši trenutki!

Ob angelski mizi,

o duša pogreza se v morje želja,

ko bliže in bliže prihaja  moj Jezus,

najlepši trenutek,

ko prejmem Boga.

Najlepši trenutki,

o to so pač tisti,

ko z Jezusom vračam

se sklenjenih rok,

ko gledam in molim in ljubim  le Njega,

ko čutim le eno:

da z mano je Bog.

Pred mano, krog mene

kleče serafini,

saj živ tabernakelj je moje telo;

srce je ciborij, v njem Jezus počiva,

pred njim kerubini svoj sanktus pojo.

še več kot ciborij, kot zlat tabernakelj,

kot žarna monštranca in več kot oltar:

nebesa so v meni,

neskončna nebesa,

vsa lepa,

Ker so svetniki najbolj prodrli v globino svete Evharistije,

2. Samuelova knjiga

2 Sam 12,1-7.10-172 Sam 12,1-7.10-17
English: World English Bible - WEB

12 1 Yahweh sent Nathan to David. He came to him, and said to him, “There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor. 2 The rich man had very many flocks and herds, 3 but the poor man had nothing, except one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and raised. It grew up together with him, and with his children. It ate of his own food, drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was to him like a daughter. 4 A traveler came to the rich man, and he spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to dress for the wayfaring man who had come to him, but took the poor man’s lamb, and dressed it for the man who had come to him.” 5 David’s anger was greatly kindled against the man, and he said to Nathan, “As Yahweh lives, the man who has done this is worthy to die! 6 He shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity!” 7 Nathan said to David, “You are the man. This is what Yahweh, the God of Israel, says: ‘I anointed you king over Israel, and I delivered you out of the hand of Saul. 10 Now therefore the sword will never depart from your house, because you have despised me, and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife.’ 11 This is what Yahweh says: ‘Behold, I will raise up evil against you out of your own house; and I will take your wives before your eyes, and give them to your neighbor, and he will lie with your wives in the sight of this sun. 12 For you did it secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.’” 13 David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against Yahweh.” Nathan said to David, “Yahweh also has put away your sin. You will not die. 14 However, because by this deed you have given great occasion to Yahweh’s enemies to blaspheme, the child also who is born to you shall surely die.” 15 Nathan departed to his house. Yahweh struck the child that Uriah’s wife bore to David, and it was very sick. 16 David therefore begged God for the child; and David fasted, and went in, and lay all night on the earth. 17 The elders of his house arose, and stood beside him, to raise him up from the earth: but he would not, neither did he eat bread with them.

Pred tvojimi očmi bom vzel tvoje žene in jih dal tvojemu bližnjemu, in legel bo s tvojimi ženami pred očmi tega sonca.

12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation. Uphold me with a willing spirit. 13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways. Sinners shall be converted to you. 14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, the God of my salvation. My tongue shall sing aloud of your righteousness. 15 Lord, open my lips. My mouth shall declare your praise. 16 For you don’t delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering. 17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.

35 On that day, when evening had come, he said to them, “Let’s go over to the other side.” 36 Leaving the multitude, they took him with them, even as he was, in the boat. Other small boats were also with him. 37 There arose a great wind storm, and the waves beat into the boat, so much that the boat was already filled. 38 He himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion, and they woke him up, and told him, “Teacher, don’t you care that we are dying?” 39 He awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” The wind ceased, and there was a great calm. 40 He said to them, “Why are you so afraid? How is it that you have no faith?” 41 They were greatly afraid, and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”

Jezus pomiri vihar
