1 “At that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who stands for the children of your people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who shall be found written in the book.
2 Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 Those who are wise shall shine as the brightness of the expanse; and those who turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.

Poslednji časi in vstajenje
1 Tisti čas nastopi Mihael, veliki knez, ki je postavljen nad sinove tvojega ljudstva. To bo čas stiske, kakršne še ni bilo, odkar so narodi, do tega časa. V tistem času bo rešeno tvoje ljudstvo; vsak, ki se najde zapisan v knjigi. 2 Mnogi izmed teh, ki spijo v prahu zemlje, se bodo prebudili; nekateri za večno življenje, drugi pa za sramoto in večno gnusobo. 3 Razumni se bodo lesketali kakor sijaj neba. Ti, ki so mnoge pripeljali do pravičnosti, pa bodo kakor zvezde za vso večnost.

11 Vsak duhovnik dan za dnem stoje opravlja bogoslužje in večkrat daruje iste žrtve, ki nikoli ne morejo odvzeti grehov. 12 Ta pa je za grehe daroval eno samo žrtev in za vekomaj sédel na Božjo desnico. 13 Odtlej pa čaka, da bodo njegovi sovražniki položeni k njegovim nogam za podnožje. 14 Z eno samo daritvijo je torej za vselej naredil popolne tiste, ki so posvečeni.

18 Kjer pa je vse to odpuščeno, ni več daritve za grehe.

24 But in those days, after that oppression, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light,
25 the stars will be falling from the sky, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken.
26 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.
27 Then he will send out his angels, and will gather together his chosen ones from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the sky.
28 “Now from the fig tree, learn this parable. When the branch has now become tender, and puts forth its leaves, you know that the summer is near;
29 even so you also, when you see these things coming to pass, know that it is near, at the doors.
30 Most assuredly I say to you, this generation The word translated “generation” could also be translated “race,” “family,” or “people.” will not pass away until all these things happen.
31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
32 But of that day or that hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

Prihod Sina človekovega
24 »Toda v tistih dneh, po tisti stiski,
bo sonce otemnelo
in luna ne bo dajala svoje svetlobe.
25 Zvezde bodo padale z neba
in nebeške sile se bodo majale.
26 Tedaj bodo videli Sina človekovega priti na oblakih z veliko močjo in slavo. 27 In takrat bo poslal angele in zbral svoje izvoljene od štirih vetrov, od konca zemlje do konca neba.«

28 »Od smokvinega drevesa pa se naučite priliko: Kadar postane njegova veja že muževna in poganja liste, veste, da je poletje blizu. 29 Tako tudi vi: Ko boste videli, da se to dogaja, védite, da je blizu, pred vrati. 30 Resnično, povem vam: Ta rod nikakor ne bo prešel, dokler se vse to ne zgodi. 31 Nebo in zemlja bosta prešla, moje besede pa nikakor ne bodo prešle.«
Nihče ne ve ne dneva ne ure
32 »Za tisti dan ali uro pa ne ve nihče, ne angeli v nebesih ne Sin, ampak samo Oče.
