30 A Psalm. A Song for the Dedication of the Temple. By David. 1 I will extol you, Yahweh, for you have raised me up, And have not made my foes to rejoice over me. 2 Yahweh my God, I cried to you, And you have healed me. 3 Yahweh, you have brought up my soul from Sheol. You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. 4 Sing praise to Yahweh, you saints of his. Give thanks to his holy name. 5 For his anger is but for a moment; His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, But joy comes in the morning. 6 As for me, I said in my prosperity, “I shall never be moved.” 7 You, Yahweh, when you favored me, made my mountain to stand strong. But when you hid your face, I was troubled. 8 I cried to you, Yahweh. To Yahweh I made supplication: 9 “What profit is there in my destruction, if I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise you? Shall it declare your truth? 10 Hear, Yahweh, and have mercy on me. Yahweh, be my helper.” 11 You have turned my mourning into dancing for me. You have removed my sackcloth, and clothed me with gladness, 12 To the end that my heart may sing praise to you, and not be silent. Yahweh my God, I will give thanks to you forever!

Eno je videti, drugo je uvideti, razumeti. Mnogi gledajo Božje stvarstvo, a ne razumejo, da je Božje. Nekaterim se zdi, da stvarstvo kar kriči o svojem Stvarniku,
drugim pa se zdi nemo.
Pascal v Mislih govori o iskanju Boga z vsem srcem, to je zavzeto in z vsem svojim bitjem:
“Bog je postavil v Cerkvi vidna znamenja, da bi se dal spoznati tem, ki ga iskreno iščejo, in jih je vendar toliko zakril, da ga bodo opazili le tisti, ki ga iščejo z vsem srcem.

1 I tell the truth in Christ. I am not lying, my conscience testifying with me in the Holy Spirit,
2 that I have great sorrow and unceasing pain in my heart.
3 For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brothers’ sake, my relatives according to the flesh,
4 who are Israelites; whose is the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service, and the promises;
5 of whom are the fathers, and from whom is Christ as concerning the flesh, who is over all, God, blessed forever. Amen.

Bog je izvolil Izraelce
1 Govorim resnico v Kristusu, ne lažem, moja vest mi je priča v Svetem Duhu: 2 v svojem srcu nosim veliko žalost in nenehno bolečino. 3 Kajti želel bi biti sam preklet in ločen od Kristusa v prid svojim bratom, ki so moji rojaki po mesu. 4 Oni so Izraelci. 1 It happened, when he went into the house of one of the rulers of the Pharisees on a Sabbath to eat bread, that they were watching him.
2 Behold, a certain man who had dropsy was in front of him.
3 Jesus, answering, spoke to the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”
4 But they were silent.
He took him, and healed him, and let him go.
5 He answered them, “Which of you, if your son TR reads “donkey” instead of “son” or an ox fell into a well, wouldn’t immediately pull him out on a Sabbath day?”
6 They couldn’t answer him regarding these things.

Jezus ozdravi vodeničnega
1 Ko je v soboto prišel na obed v hišo nekega prvaka med farizeji, so ga ti opazovali. 2 In glej, pred njim se je znašel neki človek, ki je imel vodenico. 3 Jezus je nagovoril učitelje postave in farizeje: »Ali je dovoljeno v soboto zdraviti ali ne?« 4 Oni pa so molčali. In prijel je bolnika, ga ozdravil in odslovil.
5 Njim pa je rekel: »Komu izmed vas bo sin ali vol padel v vodnjak in ga ne bo takoj, na sobotni dan, potegnil ven?« 6 In na to mu niso mogli odgovoriti.
