22 ¹ He showed me a TR adds “pure” river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb, ² in the middle of its street. On this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruits, yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. ³ There will be no curse any more. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants serve him. ⁴ They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. ⁵ There will be no night, and they need no lamp light; for the Lord God will illuminate them. They will reign forever and ever. ⁶ He said to me, “These words are faithful and true. The Lord God of the spirits of the prophets sent his angel to show to his bondservants the things which must happen soon.” ⁷ “Behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” ⁸ Now I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. He who is filthy, let him be filthy still. He who is righteous, let him do righteousness still. He who is holy, let him be holy still.” ¹² “Behold, I come quickly. My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work. ¹³ I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. ¹⁴ Blessed are those who do his commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city. ¹⁵ Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. ¹⁶ I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify these things to you for the assemblies. I am the root and the offspring of David; the Bright and Morning Star.” ¹⁷ The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” He who hears, let him say, “Come!” He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely. ¹⁸ I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if anyone adds to them, may God add to him the plagues which are written in this book. ¹⁹ If anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, may God take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book. ²⁰ He who testifies these things says, “Yes, I come quickly.” Amen! Yes, come, Lord Jesus. ²¹ The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with all the saints. Amen.

Neka redovnica je o svojem sodelovanju pri mašni daritvi zapisala:

“Osrednje mesto ima maša. Pred Gospoda prihajam praznih rok, toda z iskreno željo, da jih on napolni, me osvobodi, se po meni daje drugim. Kolikor se le da, skušam zbrano slediti Božji besedi in molitvam ter dogajanju na oltarju. Najlepši pa so trenutki po obhajilu. Takrat se z vso prisrčnostjo pogovarjam z Božjim Prijateljem, se mu zahvaljujem, ga občudujem, mu priporočim dan, ki je pred menoj, duhovnike, ves svet.

Navadno tudi obnovim redovne zaobljube in prosim za zvestobo.

Neka invalidka je povedala: “Večkrat premišljujem, koliko nam, bolnikom, pomeni sveta maša, kako pa jo mnogi, ki bi lahko šli, zanemarjajo. Meni to pomeni vse.  Nedelja, ko lahko grem k sveti maši, se mi zdi najlepša.”

Drugi vatikanski koncil uči, da ni dovolj, da smo pri maši kot “tuji ali nemi gledalci”. Takšni smo pri kakšni igri ali pred televizorjem. Še tam ljudje pogosto niso samo “tuji ali nemi gledalci”, ampak se zelo vživijo v dogajanje in z njim sodelujejo z vsem srcem in s celotnim telesom. Spomnimo se na kakšno športno prireditev.

Evharistična daritev je zadeva vsega zbranega občestva. Vsak mora pri njej sodelovati. Nikakor ni dovolj, da je pri maši samo navzoč. Seveda je drugačno sodelovanje duhovnika, drugačno ministrantovo, bralcev, pevcev, drugačno drugih vernikov. Vendar je marsikdaj vsem skupno, npr.  notranje zbrano sodelovanje s srcem, ki je najvažnejše. Za nikogar ne sme veljati Božja ugotovitev: “To ljudstvo me časti z ustnicami, njihovo srce pa je daleč od mene.

Vsi moramo priti k mašni daritvi dobro pripravljeni, s skrušenimi srci. Vsi moramo poslušati Božjo besedo, vsi moliti, s srcem in z ustnicami. Dogaja se, da marsikdo med mašo ne odpre ust, ne za petje ne za skupno molitev. Da ne poje vsak, je razumljivo, saj nima vsak daru za petje. Da vsi navzoči ne molijo ustnih molitev, ni opravičljivo. Vsi moramo nebeškemu Očetu darovati Kristusa in skupaj z Njim sebe ter vso Cerkev.

Svoje sodelovanje z dogajanjem na oltarju pokažemo tudi s tem, da skupaj vstanemo, se priklonimo, klečimo in sedimo. S tem pokažemo, da sodeluje ves človek, ne samo duh, ampak tudi telo. Stoja, sedenje, klečanje, prikloni, vse to je povezano z vsebino mašne daritve in pomaga to vsebino razumeti, hkrati pa nam pomaga k povezanosti z Bogom in med seboj.

Ničesar ne moremo dobro razumeti, česar prej ne poznamo. Da poznamo kakšno stvar, se je treba o njej poučiti. Če se bomo dobro seznanili z obredi in molitvami, nas bodo vodili h globljemu razumevanju tega, kar se dogaja pri mašni daritvi.

Za takšno razumevanje pa ni dovolj le umska poučenost, ampak je potrebno dojemanje s srcem, z vero in ljubeznijo ter z molitvijo. Šele tedaj bo možno pri mašni daritvi dobro sodelovati. Tedaj bomo izpolnili, kar od nas pričakuje 2.vatikanski cerkveni zbor: “Zavestno, pobožno in dejavno naj bi sodelovali pri svetem dogajanju.”

Takšno sodelovanje je možno le pri tistem, ki živi iz osebne, poglobljene in žive vere. Če ni izbral za svoje središče Jezusa samega, ga tudi pri mašni daritvi ne bo tako doživljal. Sodelovanje je pravilno takrat, kadar s pomočjo Božje milosti sodeluje ves človek z vsemi svojimi sposobnostmi, z razumom, srcem in s telesom.

Seveda se naše sodelovanje z mašno daritvijo ne začne šele takrat, ko pridemo v cerkev. Vse naše življenje je priprava na mašno daritev. Od njega je odvisno, kako bomo pri maši sodelovali. Če nam med tednom ni nič za Boga, se v nedeljo ne moremo spremeniti, da bomo pri mašni daritvi  dobro sodelovali. Mašna daritev je vrhunec našega življenja. Če je naše življenje plitvo, daleč od Boga, zakopano v praktični materializem, se v nedeljo pri mašni daritvi ne more dvigniti na višino Jezusove daritve na križu, kjer sta vztrajala Marija in Janez, skoraj vsi drugi pa so se razbežali. Čim bolj bomo čez teden povezani z Bogom, tem bolj bo ta povezanost z njim v nedeljo pri sveti maši dosegla svoj razcvet.
