25 But there were standing by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.
26 Therefore when Jesus saw his mother, and the disciple whom he loved standing there, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold your son!”
27 Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” From that hour, the disciple took her to his own home.

25 Poleg Jezusovega križa pa so stale njegova mati in sestra njegove matere, Marija Klopájeva in Marija Magdalena. 26 Ko je Jezus videl svojo mater in zraven stoječega učenca, katerega je ljubil, je rekel materi: »Žena, glej, tvoj sin!« 27 Potem je rekel učencu: »
Glej, tvoja mati!« In od tiste ure jo je učenec vzel k sebi.

2 Bow down your ear to me.
Deliver me speedily.
Be to me a strong rock,
A house of defense to save me.
3 For you are my rock and my fortress,
Therefore for your name’s sake lead me and guide me.
4 Pluck me out of the net that they have laid secretly for me,
For you are my stronghold.
5 Into your hand I commend my spirit.
You redeem me, Yahweh, God of truth.
6 I hate those who regard lying vanities,
But I trust in Yahweh.
15 My times are in your hand.
Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me.
16 Make your face to shine on your servant.
Save me in your loving kindness.
20 In the shelter of your presence you will hide them from the plotting of man.
You will keep them secretly in a dwelling away from the strife of tongues.

2 K tebi, GOSPOD, se zatekam,
naj ne bom osramočen na veke,
v svoji pravičnosti me osvobodi.
3 Nagni k meni svoje uho,
hitro me reši.
Bodi mi utrjena skala,
trdnjavska hiša, da me rešiš.
4 Zakaj ti si moja skala in moja trdnjava,
zaradi svojega imena me boš peljal in vodil.
5 Potegnil me boš iz mreže, ki so mi jo nastavili,
kajti ti si moja trdnjava.
6 V tvoje roke izročam svojega duha,
rešil si me, GOSPOD, zvesti Bog.

15 Jaz pa vate zaupam, o GOSPOD,
pravim: »Ti si moj Bog.«
16 V tvoji roki so moji časi,
reši me iz rok mojih sovražnikov in preganjalcev.

20 Kako velika je tvoja dobrota,
ki si jo prihranil za tiste, ki se te bojijo,
jo pripravil za tiste, ki se zatekajo k tebi
pred človeškimi sinovi.
