18 1 In that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who then is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?” 2 Jesus called a little child to himself, and set him in the midst of them, 3 and said, “Most assuredly I tell you, unless you turn, and become as little children, you will in no way enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. 4 Whoever therefore humbles himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. 5 Whoever receives one such little child in my name receives me, 10 See that you don’t despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. 12 “What do you think? If a man has one hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine, go to the mountains, and seek that which has gone astray? 13 If he finds it, most assuredly I tell you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine which have not gone astray. 14 Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.

1 Tisti čas so učenci stopili k Jezusu in dejali: »Kdo je torej največji v nebeškem kraljestvu?« 2 Tedaj je poklical k sebi otroka, ga postavil mednje 3 in rekel: »Resnično, povem vam: Če se ne spreobrnete in ne postanete kakor otroci, nikakor ne pridete v nebeško kraljestvo! 4 Kdor se torej poniža kot ta otrok, bo največji v nebeškem kraljestvu, 5 in kdor sprejme enega takega otroka v mojem imenu, mene sprejme.«

31 1 Moses went and spoke these words to all Israel. 2 He said to them, I am one hundred twenty years old this day; I can no more go out and come in: and Yahweh has said to me, You shall not go over this Jordan. 3 Yahweh your God, he will go over before you; he will destroy these nations from before you, and you shall dispossess them: and Joshua, he shall go over before you, as Yahweh has spoken. 4 Yahweh will do to them as he did to Sihon and to Og, the kings of the Amorites, and to their land; whom he destroyed. 5 Yahweh will deliver them up before you, and you shall do to them according to all the commandment which I have commanded you. 6 Be strong and of good courage, don’t be afraid, nor be scared of them: for Yahweh your God, he it is who does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you. 7 Moses called to Joshua, and said to him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of good courage: for you shall go with this people into the land which Yahweh has sworn to their fathers to give them; and you shall cause them to inherit it. 8 Yahweh, he it is who does go before you; he will be with you, he will not fail you, neither forsake you: don’t be afraid, neither be dismayed.

1 Mojzes je šel in vsemu Izraelu govoril te besede. 2 Rekel jim je: »Sto dvajset let sem star danes; ne morem več odhajati in prihajati; in GOSPOD mi je rekel: ›Ne pojdeš čez ta Jordan.‹ 3 GOSPOD, tvoj Bog, bo šel čez pred teboj; on bo pokončal pred teboj te narode, da jih razlastiš. In Józue pojde pred teboj, kakor je rekel GOSPOD. 4 GOSPOD jim bo storil, kakor je storil Sihónu in Ogu, kraljema Amoréjcev, in njuni deželi, ki jih je pokončal. 5 Ko vam jih bo GOSPOD izročil, jim storite natanko po zapovedi, ki sem vam jo danes zapovedal! 6 Bodite krepki in pogumni, ne bojte se in ne trepetajte pred njimi! Kajti GOSPOD, tvoj Bog, hodi s teboj; ne bo te pustil samega in ne bo te zapustil.«
7 Tedaj je Mojzes poklical Józueta in mu pred očmi vsega Izraela rekel: »Bodi krepak in odločen! Kajti ti boš šel s tem ljudstvom v deželo, za katero je GOSPOD prisegel njihovim očetom, da jim jo bo dal, in ti jim jo boš razdelil v dediščino. 8 GOSPOD hodi pred teboj; on bo s teboj; ne bo te pustil samega in ne bo te zapustil. Nikar se ne boj in se ne pláši!«

1 Zborovodju, na piščali. Davidov psalm.
2 Poslušaj moje izreke, o GOSPOD,
dojemi moje vzdihovanje.
3 Prisluhni glasu moje tožbe,
moj Kralj in moj Bog,
saj k tebi molim.
4 GOSPOD, zjutraj poslušaj moj glas,
zjutraj polagam predte molitev in čakam.


5 Zares, ti nisi Bog, ki bi se veselil krivičnosti,
hudobni ne more gostovati pri tebi.
6 Bahači se ne morejo postavljati pred tvoje oči,
ti sovražiš vse hudodelce.
7 Ugonabljaš tiste, ki govore za slepilo,
krvoločneža in varljivca mrzi GOSPOD.


8 Jaz pa po tvoji veliki dobroti
prihajam v tvojo hišo,
padam na kolena proti tvojemu svetemu templju
v tvojem strahu.
9 GOSPOD, vodi me v svoji pravičnosti
zaradi mojih sovražnikov,
uravnavaj svojo pot pred mano.


10 Zares, v njihovih ustih ni resnice,
njihova notranjost je pogubna;
odprt grob je njihovo grlo,
s svojim jezikom se prilizujejo.
11 Obtoži jih krivde, o Bog,
naj padejo zaradi svojih naklepov;
zaradi njihovih mnogih hudodelstev jih odženi,
saj so se ti uprli.


12 A veselijo naj se vsi, ki se zatekajo k tebi,
vekomaj naj vriskajo;
zavaruj jih, da bodo ukali v tebi
tisti, ki tvoje ime ljubijo.
13 Saj ti, GOSPOD, blagoslavljaš pravičnega,
kakor s ščitom ga kronaš z milostjo.
