7 He called to himself the twelve, and began to send them out two by two; and he gave them authority over the unclean spirits.
8 He charged them that they should take nothing for their journey, except a staff only: no bread, no wallet, no money in their purse,
9 but to wear sandals, and not put on two tunics.
10 He said to them, “Wherever you enter into a house, stay there until you depart from there.
11 Whoever will not receive you nor hear you, as you depart from there, shake off the dust that is under your feet for a testimony against them. Assuredly, I tell you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!”
12 They went out and preached that people should repent.
13 They cast out many demons, and anointed many with oil who were sick, and healed them.

7 Poklical je k sebi dvanajstere in jih začel pošiljati po dva in dva. Dajal jim je oblast nad nečistimi duhovi 8 in jim naročil, naj razen palice ne jemljejo na pot ničesar, ne kruha ne popotne torbe ne denarja v pasu, 9 obujejo naj sandale in naj ne oblačijo dveh oblek. 10 Govoril jim je: »Kjer koli stopite v hišo, ostanite tam, dokler ne odidete. 11 Če vas kakšen kraj ne sprejme in vas ne poslušajo, pojdite od tam in si otresite prah z nog, njim v pričevanje.« 12 In šli so ter oznanjali, naj se spreobrnejo. 13 Izgnali so tudi veliko demonov in veliko bolnikov mazilili z oljem ter jih ozdravljali.

14 Then Amos answered Amaziah, “I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet’s son; but I was a herdsman, and a farmer of sycamore trees;
15 and Yahweh took me from following the flock, and Yahweh said to me, ‘Go, prophesy to my people Israel.’

Zares, govori o miru
svojemu ljudstvu in svojim zvestim
in naj se ne obračajo k norosti.
10 Zares, blizu je njegova rešitev tistim, ki se ga bojijo,
da bo slava prebivala v naši deželi.
11 Dobrota in zvestoba se bosta srečali,
pravičnost in mir se bosta poljubila.
12 Iz zemlje bo pognala zvestoba,
z nebes bo gledala pravičnost.
13 GOSPOD bo tudi dal, kar je dobro,
naša dežela bo dajala pridelek.
14 Pred njim bo šla pravičnost
in utirala pot njegovim korakom.

6 to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he freely bestowed favor on us in the Beloved,

Duhovni blagoslov v Kristusu
3 Slavljen Bog in Oče našega Gospoda Jezusa Kristusa, ki nas je v nebesih v Kristusu blagoslovil z vsakršnim duhovnim blagoslovom: 4 pred stvarjenjem sveta nas je izvolil v njem, da bi bili pred njegovim obličjem sveti in brezmadežni. V ljubezni nas je 5 vnaprej določil, naj bomo po Jezusu Kristusu njegovi posinovljeni otroci. Takšen je bil blagohotni sklep njegove volje, 6 v hvalo veličastva njegove milosti, s katero nas je obdaril v Ljubljenem. 7 V njem, po njegovi krvi imamo odkupitev, odpuščanje prestopkov po bogastvu njegove milosti. 8 To milost je obilno razlil na nas, z vso modrostjo in razumnostjo, 9 ko nam je razodel skrivnost svoje volje po blagohotnem načrtu, kakor si ga je vnaprej zastavil, 10 da bi ga uresničil v polnosti časov: osrediniti v Kristusu kot glavi vse, kar je v nebesih in kar je na zemlji. 11 V njem, v katerem smo tudi prišli do dediščine, smo bili vnaprej določeni po načrtu njega, ki vse uresničuje po sklepu svoje volje, 12 da bi bili mi, ki smo že prej upali v Mesija, v hvalo njegovega veličastva. 13 V njem ste tudi vi slišali besedo resnice, evangelij svojega odrešenja. Vanj ste tudi verovali in v njem prejeli pečat Svetega Duha, ki je bil obljubljen. 14 Ta je poroštvo naše dediščine, v odkupitev ljudstva, ki si ga je Bog pridobil, v hvalo njegovega veličastva.

Romanje mladih v Fatimo
pod vodstvom duhovnikov iz Odbora za posvetitev Jezusovemu in Marijinemu srcu, ki bo
od 29. julija do 5. avgusta 2009.
Povezanost mladih z Devico Marijo je najboljše jamstvo, da bodo ne le ohranili vero, ampak bodo tudi dejavni sodelavci v Cerkvi ter luč za druge mlade.
Romarji bodo obiskali tudi Marijina svetišča v Lurdu, Barceloni in Montserratu.
Vabljeni birmanci, dijaki, študentje, mladi v poklicih, zaročenci, mladoporočenci in tudi mlade družine. Cena romanja je 390 €. Če botri svojim birmancem namesto drugega materialnega darila plačajo pot in gredo z njimi, bo to zanje najboljše darilo.

25 It is enough for the disciple that he be like his teacher, and the servant like his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more those of his household!
26 Therefore don’t be afraid of them, for there is nothing covered that will not be revealed; and hidden that will not be known.
27 What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in the ear, proclaim on the housetops.
28 Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.
29 “Aren’t two sparrows sold for an assarion An assarion is a small coin worth one tenth of a drachma or a sixteenth of a denarius .? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father’s will,

1 My son, if you will receive my words,
And store up my commandments within you;
2 So as to turn your ear to wisdom,
And apply your heart to understanding;
3 Yes, if you call out for discernment,
And lift up your voice for understanding;
4 If you seek her as silver,
And search for her as for hidden treasures:
5 Then you will understand the fear of Yahweh,
And find the knowledge of God.
6 For Yahweh gives wisdom.
Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.
7 He lays up sound wisdom for the upright.
He is a shield to those who walk in integrity;
8 That he may guard the paths of justice,

Pomen vzgoje
1 Sin moj, če sprejemaš moje izreke
in hraniš pri sebi moje zapovedi,
2 tako da tvoje uho posluša modrost,
da nagibaš svoje srce k razumnosti,
3 da, če kličeš razsodnost,
daješ svoj glas razumnosti,
4 če jo iščeš kakor srebro,
