Evangelij po Mateju

Mt 9,18-26Mt 9,18-26
English: World English Bible - WEB

18 While he told these things to them, behold, a ruler came and worshiped him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.” 19 Jesus got up and followed him, as did his disciples. 20 Behold, a woman who had an issue of blood for twelve years came behind him, and touched the tassels of his garment; 21 for she said within herself, “If I just touch his garment, I will be made well.” 22 But Jesus, turning around and seeing her, said, “Daughter, cheer up! Your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour. 23 When Jesus came into the ruler’s house, and saw the flute players, and the crowd in noisy disorder, 24 he said to them, “Make room, because the girl isn’t dead, but sleeping.” They were ridiculing him. 25 But when the crowd was put out, he entered in, took her by the hand, and the girl arose. 26 The report of this went out into all that land.

10 Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran. 11 He came to a certain place, and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. He took one of the stones of the place, and put it under his head, and lay down in that place to sleep. 12 He dreamed. Behold, a stairway set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven. Behold, the angels of God ascending and descending on it. 13 Behold, Yahweh stood above it, and said, “I am Yahweh, the God of Abraham your father, and the God of Isaac. The land whereon you lie, to you will I give it, and to your seed. 14 Your seed will be as the dust of the earth, and you will spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south. In you and in your seed will all the families of the earth be blessed. 15 Behold, I am with you, and will keep you, wherever you go, and will bring you again into this land. For I will not leave you, until I have done that which I have spoken of to you.” 16 Jacob awakened out of his sleep, and he said, “Surely Yahweh is in this place, and I didn’t know it.” 17 He was afraid, and said, “How dreadful is this place! This is none other than God’s house, and this is the gate of heaven.” 18 Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put under his head, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil on the top of it. 19 He called the name of that place Bethel, but the name of the city was Luz at the first. 20 Jacob vowed a vow, saying, “If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and clothing to put on, 21 so that I come again to my father’s house in peace, and Yahweh will be my God, 22 then this stone, which I have set up for a pillar, will be God’s house. Of all that you will give me I will surely give the tenth to you.”

Jakobove sanje
14 Tvojih potomcev bo kakor prahu zemlje. Razširil se boš proti zahodu in vzhodu, proti severu in jugu, in v tebi in tvojem potomstvu bodo blagoslovljeni vsi rodovi zemlje.

Ps 91,1-4.14-15Ps 91,1-4.14-15
English: World English Bible - WEB

91 1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of Yahweh, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust.” 3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence. 4 He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. 14 “Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name. 15 He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him.

PSALM 91 (90)
Zatočišče pod Božjimi perutmi

91

1 Tisti, ki stanuje v skrivališču Najvišjega,
ki prenočuje v senci Mogočnega,
2 pravi GOSPODU: »Moje zatočišče in moja trdnjava,
moj Bog, ki vanj zaupam.«

3 Zares, on te bo rešil iz ptičarjeve zanke,
pred pogubno kugo.
4 S svojimi krili te pokrije,
pod njegove peruti se zatečeš;
ščit in oklep sta njegova zvestoba.

14 Ker mi je vdan, ga hočem osvoboditi,
branil ga bom, ker spoznava moje ime.
15 Kliče me, pa ga uslišim,
z njim sem, ko je v stiski,
rešim ga in mu izkažem čast.
