1 When he came down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.
2 Behold, a leper came to him and worshiped him, saying, “Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean.”
3 Jesus stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying, “I want to. Be made clean.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
4 Jesus said to him, “See that you tell nobody, but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

Jezus očisti gobavca
1 Ko je prišel z gore, so ga spremljale velike množice. 2 In glej, pristopil je gobavec, se poklonil pred njim do tal in rekel: »
Gospod, če hočeš, me moreš očistiti.« 3 Jezus je iztegnil roko, se ga dotaknil in rekel: »Hočem, bodi očiščen!« In pri priči je bil očiščen gob. 4 Nato mu je Jezus rekel: »Glej, da nikomur ne poveš, ampak pojdi, pokaži se duhovniku in prinesi dar, ki ga je zapovedal Mojzes, njim v pričevanje.«

1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, Yahweh appeared to Abram, and said to him, “I am God Almighty. Walk before me, and be blameless.
9 God said to Abraham, “As for you, you will keep my covenant, you and your seed after you throughout their generations.
10 This is my covenant, which you shall keep, between me and you and your seed after you. Every male among you shall be circumcised.
15 God said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but her name will be Sarah.
16 I will bless her, and moreover I will give you a son by her. Yes, I will bless her, and she will be a mother of nations. Kings of peoples will come from her.”
17 Then Abraham fell on his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, “Will a child be born to him who is one hundred years old? Will Sarah, who is ninety years old, give birth?”
18 Abraham said to God, “Oh that Ishmael might live before you!”
19 God said, “No, but Sarah, your wife, will bear you a son. You shall call his name Isaac. Isaac means “he laughs.” I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his seed after him.
20 As for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly. He will become the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation.
21 But my covenant I establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you at this set time in the next year.”
22 When he finished talking with him, God went up from Abraham.

9 Bog je rekel Abrahamu: »Ti pa se dŕži moje zaveze, ti in tvoji potomci za teboj iz roda v rod! 10 To je moja zaveza, ki se je držite, zaveza med menoj in vami ter tvojimi potomci za teboj: vsak moški pri vas naj bo obrezan!

15 Potem je Bog rekel Abrahamu: »Svoje žene Saráje ne imenuj več Sarája, temveč Sara bodi njeno ime! 16 Blagoslovil jo bom in ti dal sina tudi od nje; blagoslovil jo bom, da bodo iz nje nastali narodi in bodo kralji ljudstev izšli iz nje.« 17 Abraham je padel na obraz in se zasmejal. Rekel si je: »Ali se bo stoletniku rodil sin? Ali bo devetdesetletna Sara rodila?« 18 Abraham je rekel Bogu: »O da bi le Izmael živel pred teboj!« 19 Bog pa je odgovoril: »Ne, temveč tvoja žena Sara ti bo rodila sina in dal mu boš ime Izak. Sklenil bom z njim svojo zavezo kot večno zavezo za njegove potomce za njim. 20 Tudi glede Izmaela sem te uslišal; glej, blagoslovil ga bom in ga naredil rodovitnega ter ga silno namnožil; dvanajst knezov se mu bo rodilo in naredil bom iz njega velik narod. 21 Svojo zavezo pa bom sklenil z Izakom, ki ti ga bo rodila Sara čez leto dni.« 22 Ko je Bog nehal govoriti z njim, se je vzdignil od Abrahama.

A Song of Ascents.
1 Blessed is everyone who fears Yahweh,
Who walks in his ways.
2 For you will eat the labor of your hands.
You will be happy, and it will be well with you.
3 Your wife will be as a fruitful vine,
In the innermost parts of your house;
Your children like olive plants,
Around your table.
4 Behold, thus is the man blessed who fears Yahweh.
5 May Yahweh bless you out of Zion,
And may you see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life.

1 Stopniška pesem.
Blagor vsakemu, ki se boji GOSPODA,
ki hodi po njegovih poteh.
2 Sadove truda svojih rok boš zares užival,
blagor tebi, tebi bo dobro.
3 Tvoja žena bo kakor rodovitna trta
sredi tvoje hiše;
tvoji otroci bodo kakor oljčne mladike
okrog tvoje mize.
4 Glej, tako bo blagoslovljen mož,
ki se boji GOSPODA.
5 Blagoslovi naj te GOSPOD s Siona,
da boš užival blaginjo Jeruzalema
vse dni svojega življenja,
