9 Now when he had risen early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons. 10 She went and told those who had been with him, as they mourned and wept. 11 When they heard that he was alive, and had been seen by her, they disbelieved. 12 After these things he was revealed in another form to two of them, as they walked, on their way into the country. 13 They went away and told it to the rest. They didn’t believe them, either. 14 Afterward he was revealed to the eleven themselves as they sat at the table, and he rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they didn’t believe those who had seen him after he had risen. 15 He said to them, “Go into all the world, and preach the Gospel to the whole creation.

Jezus se prikaže Mariji Magdaleni

9 Ko je prvi dan tedna navsezgodaj vstal, se je najprej prikazal Mariji Magdaleni, iz katere je izgnal sedem demonov. 10 Šla je in to sporočila tistim, ki so bili prej z njim in so žalovali ter jokali. 11 Ko so slišali, da živi in da ga je ona videla, niso verjeli.
Jezus se prikaže dvema učencema

12 Nato se je v drugi obliki prikazal dvema izmed njih med potjo, ko sta šla na deželo. 13 Tudi ta dva sta odšla in to sporočila drugim, pa tudi njima niso verjeli.
Jezus pošlje učence

14 Še pozneje se je prikazal enajsterim, ko so bili pri mizi. Grajal je njihovo nevero in trdosrčnost, ker niso verjeli tistim, ki so ga videli obujenega. 15 Rekel jim je: »Pojdite po vsem svetubodite-torej-budni in oznanite evangelij vsemu stvarstvu!

13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and had perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled. They recognized that they had been with Jesus. 14 Seeing the man who was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it. 15 But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves, 16 saying, “What shall we do to these men? Because indeed a notable miracle has been done through them, as can be plainly seen by all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we can’t deny it. 17 But so that this spreads no further among the people, let’s threaten them, that from now on they don’t speak to anyone in this name.” 18 They called them, and charged them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. 19 But Peter and John answered them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, judge for yourselves, 20 for we can’t help telling the things which we saw and heard.” 21 When they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way to punish them, because of the people; for everyone glorified God for that which was done.

Čudili so se in so spoznali, da sta se družila z Jezusom. 14 Toda ker so videli človeka, ki je stal ozdravljen poleg njiju, jima niso mogli ugovarjati. 15 Veleli so jima, naj se umakneta iz zbornice, ter se posvetovali. 16 »Kaj naj storimo z njima?« so govorili. »Po njiju se je zgodil očiten čudež. Stvar se je razvedela med vsemi jeruzalemskimi prebivalci; tega ne moremo tajiti. 17 Da pa se glas o tem ne bi še bolj raznesel med ljudstvom, jima bomo zabičali, da ne smeta pred nikomer več govoriti o tem imenu.« 18 In poklicali so ju nazaj in jima zapovedali, da nikakor ne smeta več govoriti in učiti v Jezusovem imenu. 19 Toda Peter in Janez sta jim odvrnila: »Presodite, kaj je bolj pravično pred Bogom: poslušati vas ali Boga? 20 Ne moreva, da ne bi govorila o tem, kar sva videla in slišala.« 21 Nato so jima še huje grozili. Ker pa niso našli nobenega razloga, da bi ju kaznovali, so ju odpustili zaradi ljudi, saj so vsi poveličevali Boga spričo tega, kar se je zgodilo;

118

1 Zahvaljujte se GOSPODU, ker je dober,
ker na veke traja njegova dobrota.

12 Obkolili so me kakor čebele;
ugasnejo kakor ogenj v trnju,
v GOSPODOVEM imenu, zares, jih posekam.

16 GOSPODOVA desnica se je vzdignila,
GOSPODOVA desnica dela mogočne reči.«
17 Ne bom umrl, ne, živel bom
in pripovedoval o GOSPODOVIH delih.


19 Odprite mi vrata pravičnosti,
stopil bom skoznje, zahvalil se bom GOSPODU.

21 Zahvaljujem se ti, ker si me uslišal
in si mi bil v rešitev.
