Jn 19,28-37Jn 19,28-37
English: World English Bible - WEB
28 After this, Jesus, seeing NU, TR read “knowing” instead of “seeing” that all things were now finished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I am thirsty.” 29 Now a vessel full of vinegar was set there; so they put a sponge full of the vinegar on hyssop, and held it at his mouth. 30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, “It is finished.” He bowed his head, and gave up his spirit. 31 Therefore the Jews, because it was the Preparation Day, so that the bodies wouldn’t remain on the cross on the Sabbath , asked of Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. 32 Therefore the soldiers came, and broke the legs of the first, and of the other who was crucified with him; 33 but when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was already dead, they didn’t break his legs. 34 However one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out. 35 He who has seen has testified, and his testimony is true. He knows that he tells the truth, that you may believe. 36 For these things happened, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, “A bone of him will not be broken.” 37 Again another Scripture says, “They will look on him whom they pierced.”

Jezus umre
Vojak prebode Jezusovo stran
BERILO
Iz 52,13-53,12Iz 52,13-53,12
English: World English Bible - WEB
13 Behold, my servant shall deal wisely, he shall be exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high.
14 Like as many were astonished at you ,
15 so shall he sprinkle many nations; kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they understand.
53
1 Who has believed our message? and to whom has the arm of Yahweh been revealed?
2 For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he has no form nor comeliness; and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3 He was despised, and rejected by men; a man of suffering, and acquainted with disease: and as one from whom men hide their face he was despised; and we didn’t respect him.
4 Surely he has borne our sickness, and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; everyone has turned to his own way; and Yahweh has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, yet when he was afflicted he didn’t open his mouth; as a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a sheep that before its shearers is mute, so he didn’t open his mouth.
8 By oppression and judgment he was taken away; and as for his generation, who among them considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living for the disobedience of my people to whom the stroke was due?
9 They made his grave with the wicked, and with a rich man in his death; although he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
10 Yet it pleased Yahweh to bruise him; he has put him to grief: when you shall make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of Yahweh shall prosper in his hand.
11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by the knowledge of himself shall my righteous servant justify many; and he shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he poured out his soul to death, and was numbered with the transgressors: yet he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Četrti spev o GOSPODOVEM služabniku
13 Glej, moj služabnik bo imel uspeh,
povzpel se bo in povzdignil
in bo silno vzvišen.
mož bolečin in znanec bolezni,
kakor tisti, pred katerim si zakrivajo obraz,
je bil zaničevan in nismo ga cenili.
4 V resnici je nosil naše bolezni,
naložil si je naše bolečine,
mi pa smo ga imeli za zadetega,
udarjenega od Boga in ponižanega.
5 On pa je bil ranjen zaradi naših prestopkov,
strt zaradi naših krivd.
Kazen za naš mir je padla nanj,
po njegovih ranah smo bili ozdravljeni.
6 Mi vsi smo tavali kakor ovce,
obrnili smo se vsak na svojo pot,
GOSPOD pa je naložil nanj
krivdo nas vseh.
7 Bil je mučen, a se je uklonil
in ni odprl svojih ust,
zadet zaradi prestopka mojega ljudstva.
9 Dali so mu grob pri krivičnih,
gomilo pri bogatem,
čeprav ni storil nobenega nasilja
in ni bilo zvijače v njegovih ustih.
bo videl potomce in bo podaljšal svoje dni,
in bil prištet med prestopnike,
nosil pa je grehe številnih
in prosil za prestopnike.

2 K tebi, GOSPOD, se zatekam,
naj ne bom osramočen na veke,
v svoji pravičnosti me osvobodi.
|
6 V tvoje roke izročam svojega duha,
rešil si me, GOSPOD, zvesti Bog.
|
|
12 Vsem svojim nasprotnikom sem v sramotenje,
še bolj svojim sosedom,
strah vzbujam svojim znancem,
tisti, ki me vidijo zunaj, zbežijo pred mano.
13 Izbrisan sem iz srca kakor mrtev,
postal sem kakor izgubljena posoda.
|
15 Jaz pa vate zaupam, o GOSPOD,
pravim: »Ti si moj Bog.«
16 V tvoji roki so moji časi,
reši me iz rok mojih sovražnikov in preganjalcev.
17 Razjasni svoj obraz nad svojim služabnikom,
odreši me v svoji dobroti.

Pismo Hebrejcem
Heb 5,7-9Heb 5,7-9
English: World English Bible - WEB
7 He, in the days of his flesh, having offered up prayers and petitions with strong crying and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and having been heard for his godly fear,
8 though he was a Son, yet learned obedience by the things which he suffered.
9 Having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of eternal salvation,
