22 He came to Bethsaida. They brought a blind man to him, and begged him to touch him.
23 He took hold of the blind man by the hand, and brought him out of the village. When he had spit on his eyes, and laid his hands on him, he asked him if he saw anything.
24 He looked up, and said, “I see men; for I see them like trees walking.”
25 Then again he laid his hands on his eyes. He looked intently, and was restored, and saw everyone clearly.
26 He sent him away to his house, saying, “Don’t enter into the village, nor tell anyone in the village.”

22 Prispeli so v Betsajdo in pripeljali so mu slepega ter ga prosili, da bi se ga dotaknil. 23 Prijel je slepega za roko in ga povedel iz vasi. Nato mu je s slino omočil oči, položil nanj roke in ga vprašal: »Vidiš kaj?« 24 Ta se je ozrl kvišku in rekel: »Vidim ljudi, kakor da bi okrog hodila drevesa.« 25 Nato mu je ponovno položil roke na oči in slepi je spregledal.

6 It happened at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made,
7 and he sent forth a raven. It went back and forth, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.
8 He sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the surface of the ground,
9 but the dove found no place to rest her foot, and she returned to him into the ark; for the waters were on the surface of the whole earth. He put forth his hand, and took her, and brought her to him into the ark.
10 He stayed yet another seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark.
11 The dove came back to him at evening, and, behold, in her mouth was an olive leaf plucked off. So Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.
12 He stayed yet another seven days, and sent forth the dove; and she didn’t return to him any more.
13 It happened in the six hundred first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth. Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked. He saw that the surface of the ground was dried.
20 Noah built an altar to Yahweh, and took of every clean animal, and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
21 Yahweh smelled the sweet savor. Yahweh said in his heart, “I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake, because the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I ever again strike everything living, as I have done.
22 While the earth remains, seed time and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”

6 Preteklo je še štirideset dni in Noe je odprl lino, ki jo je naredil na ladji, 7 in izpustil krokarja. Ta je odletel, a se je vračal in spet vzletaval, dokler vode na zemlji niso usahnile. 8 Nato je Noe spustil golobico, da bi ugotovil, ali so vode odtekle s površja zemlje. 9 Toda golobica ni našla počivališča, kamor bi stopila, in vrnila se je k njemu v ladjo, kajti voda je še vedno prekrivala zemljo. Iztegnil je roko, jo prijel in spravil k sebi v ladjo. 10 Počakal je še sedem dni in nato je spet poslal golobico iz ladje. 11 Proti večeru se je golobica vrnila in glej, v kljunu je imela zeleno oljčno vejico. Zdaj je Noe vedel, da so vode na zemlji upadle. 12 Počakal je še sedem dni. Spet je spustil golobico, a se ni več vrnila.
13 Prvi dan prvega meseca v šeststoprvem letu so vode izginile z zemlje. Noe je odkril streho na ladji, pogledal in glej, površina zemlje se je začela sušiti.

Bog sklene zavezo z ljudmi in živalmi
20 Noe je postavil GOSPODU oltar in vzel od vse čiste živine in od vseh čistih ptic ter daroval žgalne daritve na oltarju. 21 GOSPOD je zaduhal prijetni vonj in si rekel: »Ne bom več preklel zemlje zaradi človeka, kajti mišljenje človekovega srca je hudobno od njegove mladosti. Ne bom več udaril vsega živega, kakor sem storil.
22 Dokler bo trajala zemlja –
ne setev ne žetev, ne mraz ne vročina,
ne poletje ne zima, ne dan ne noč
ne bodo prenehali.«
