Evangelij po Marku
Mr 2,23-28Mr 2,23-28
English: World English Bible - WEB
23 It happened that he was going on the Sabbath day through the grain fields, and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of grain.
24 The Pharisees said to him, “Behold, why do they do that which is not lawful on the Sabbath day?”
25 He said to them, “Did you never read what David did, when he had need, and was hungry—he, and they who were with him?
26 How he entered into the house of God when Abiathar was high priest, and ate the show bread, which it is not lawful to eat except for the priests, and gave also to those who were with him?”
27 He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.
28 Therefore the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath.”

Učenci v soboto smukajo klasje
23 Neko soboto je šel skozi žitna polja, in njegovi učenci so spotoma začeli smukati klasje. 24 Farizeji so mu govorili: »Glej, kaj delajo v soboto.

Pismo Hebrejcem 6,10-20Hebrejcem 6,10-20
English: World English Bible - WEB
10 For God is not unrighteous, so as to forget your work and the labor of love which you showed toward his name, in that you served the saints, and still do serve them.
11 We desire that each one of you may show the same diligence to the fullness of hope even to the end,
12 that you won’t be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherited the promises.
13 For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he could swear by none greater, he swore by himself,
14 saying, “Most surely I will bless you, and I will surely multiply you.”
15 Thus, having patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
16 For men indeed swear by a greater one, and in every dispute of theirs the oath is final for confirmation.
17 In this way God, being determined to show more abundantly to the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath;
18 that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to take hold of the hope set before us.
19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and entering into that which is within the veil;
20 where as a forerunner Jesus entered for us, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.

He always remembers his covenant.
9 He has sent redemption to his people.
He has ordained his covenant forever.
His name is holy and awesome!

PSALM 111 (110)
Bog je dobrotnik svojega ljudstva
Zahvaljujem se GOSPODU z vsem srcem
v krogu pravičnih, v skupnosti.
2 Velika so GOSPODOVA dela,
preiskujejo jih vsi, ki imajo veselje z njimi.
|
|
|
9 Odrešitev je poslal svojemu ljudstvu,
na veke je zapovedal svojo zavezo;
