Jn 1,35-42Jn 1,35-42

35 Again, the next day, John was standing with two of his disciples,
36 and he looked at Jesus as he walked, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God!”
37 The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.
38 Jesus turned, and saw them following, and said to them, “What are you looking for?”
They said to him, “Rabbi” , “where are you staying?”
39 He said to them, “Come, and see.”
They came and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day. It was about the tenth hour. PM.
40 One of the two who heard John, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.
41 He first found his own brother, Simon, and said to him, “We have found the Messiah!” and “Christ” both mean “Anointed One”.).
42 He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him, and said, “You are Simon the son of Jonah. You shall be called Cephas” .

35 Naslednji dan je Janez spet stal tam in še dva izmed njegovih učencev. 36 Ozrl se je na Jezusa, ki je šel mimo, in rekel: »Glej, Božje Jagnje!«37 Učenca sta slišala, kar je rekel, in odšla za Jezusom. 38 Jezus pa se je obrnil, in ko je videl, da gresta za njim, jima je dejal: »Kaj iščeta?« Rekla sta mu: »Rabi (kar v prevodu pomeni učitelj), kje stanuješ?« 39 Rekel jima je: »Pridita in bosta videla.« Šla sta torej in videla, kje stanuje, ter ostala pri njem tisti dan. Bilo je okrog desete ure. 40 Eden od teh, ki sta slišala Janezove besede in šla za Jezusom, je bil Andrej, brat Simona Petra. 41 Ta je najprej našel svojega brata Simona in mu je rekel: »Našli smo Mesija« (kar v prevodu pomeni Maziljenec). 42 Privedel ga je k Jezusu. Jezus je uprl pogled vanj in rekel: »Ti si Simon, Janezov sin. Imenoval se boš Kefa« (kar se prevaja Peter).

3 and the lamp of God hadn’t yet gone out, and Samuel had laid down to sleep, in the temple of Yahweh, where the ark of God was;
4 that Yahweh called Samuel; and he said, Here am I.
5 He ran to Eli, and said, Here am I; for you called me. He said, I didn’t call; lie down again. He went and lay down.
6 Yahweh called yet again, Samuel. Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for you called me. He answered, I didn’t call, my son; lie down again.
7 Now Samuel didn’t yet know Yahweh, neither was the word of Yahweh yet revealed to him.
8 Yahweh called Samuel again the third time. He arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for you called me. Eli perceived that Yahweh had called the child.
9 Therefore Eli said to Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call you, that you shall say, Speak, Yahweh; for your servant hears. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.
10 Yahweh came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel said, Speak; for your servant hears.
19 Samuel grew, and Yahweh was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground.

| 3 Božja svetilka še ni ugasnila in Samuel je spal v GOSPODOVEM svetišču, kjer je bila Božja skrinja. 4 Tedaj je GOSPOD poklical Samuela. »Tukaj sem,« je rekel. 5 Tekel je k Éliju in rekel: »Tukaj sem, kajti klical si me.« »Nisem klical,« je rekel, »vrni se, spi!« Šel je in zaspal. 6 GOSPOD pa je spet poklical Samuela. Samuel je vstal, šel k Éliju in rekel: »Tukaj sem, kajti klical si me.« »Nisem klical, moj sin,« je rekel, »vrni se, spi!« 7 Samuel namreč še ni poznal GOSPODA in GOSPODOVA beseda se mu še ni razodela. 8 GOSPOD pa je spet, tretjič, poklical Samuela. Vstal je, šel k Éliju in rekel: »Tukaj sem, kajti klical si me.« Tedaj je Éli spoznal, da GOSPOD kliče dečka. 9 In Éli je rekel Samuelu: »Pojdi, spi! In če te bo poklical, reci: ›Govôri, GOSPOD, kajti tvoj hlapec posluša.‹« In Samuel je šel ter zaspal na svojem prostoru.
10 Tedaj je prišel GOSPOD, se ustavil in zaklical kakor prej: »Samuel, Samuel!« Samuel je rekel: »Govôri, kajti tvoj hlapec posluša.«

19 Samuel pa je rastel in GOSPOD je bil z njim in ni pustil, da bi katera od njegovih besed padla na tla.

2 Trdno sem upal v GOSPODA,
pa se je sklonil k meni in uslišal moje klicanje.

hvalnico našemu Bogu.

zaupali bodo v GOSPODA.

7 Nad klavnimi in jedilnimi daritvami nisi imel veselja,
izoblikoval si mi ušesa,
žgalnih daritev in daritev za greh nisi zahteval.
8 Tedaj sem rekel: »Glej, prihajam;
v zvitku knjige je pisano o meni:
9 Izpolnjevati tvojo voljo, moj Bog, me veseli,
tvoja postava je v mojem srcu.«
10 Oznanjeval sem pravičnost v velikem zboru;
glej, svojih ustnic ne zadržujem,
GOSPOD, ti sam veš.

13 “Foods for the belly, and the belly for foods,” but God will bring to nothing both it and them. But the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
14 Now God raised up the Lord, and will also raise us up by his power.
15 Don’t you know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them members of a prostitute? May it never be!
17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.
18 Flee sexual immorality! “Every sin that a man does is outside the body,” but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
19 Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own,
20 for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

| 13 Jedi so za trebuh in trebuh je za jedi. Bog pa bo oboje odpravil. Telo ni za nečistovanje, ampak za Gospoda, in Gospod je za telo. 14 Bog je obudil Gospoda in bo s svojo močjo obudil tudi nas. 15 Ali ne veste, da so vaša telesa deli Kristusovega telesa? Mar bom vzel dele Kristusovega telesa in iz njih napravil dele vlačuginega telesa? Nikakor! |
17 Kdor pa se druži z Gospodom, je z njim en duh. 18 Bežite pred nečistovanjem. Vsak greh, ki ga stori človek, je zunaj telesa; kdor pa nečistuje, greši proti lastnemu telesu. 19 Mar ne veste, da je vaše telo tempelj Svetega Duha, ki je v vas in ki ga imate od Boga? Ne pripadate sebi, 20 saj ste bili odkupljeni za visoko ceno. Zato poveličujte Boga v svojem telesu.
