Evangelij po Luku

Lk 21,29-33Lk 21,29-33
English: World English Bible - WEB

29 He told them a parable. “See the fig tree, and all the trees. 30 When they are already budding, you see it and know by your own selves that the summer is already near. 31 Even so you also, when you see these things happening, know that the Kingdom of God is near. 32 Most assuredly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all things are accomplished. 33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away.

Nauk smokvinega drevesa

29 Povedal jim je priliko: »Poglejte smokvino drevo in vsa drevesa.

20 1 I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. 2 He seized the dragon, the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole inhabited earth, and bound him for a thousand years, 3 and cast him into the abyss, and shut it, and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years were finished. After this, he must be freed for a short time. 4 I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as didn’t worship the beast nor his image, and didn’t receive the mark on their forehead and on their hand. They lived, and reigned with Christ for the thousand years. 11 I saw a great white throne, and him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. There was found no place for them. 12 I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and they opened books. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 If anyone was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.

Tisočletje

20

Oživeli so in kraljevali s Kristusom tisoč let.

Sodba z velikega belega prestola
Zemlja in nebo sta pobegnila izpred njegovega obličja in zanju ni bilo prostora. 12 Nato sem videl umrle, velike in majhne, kako stojijo pred prestolom.

2 I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready like a bride adorned for her husband.

PSALM

Ps 84, 1-13Ps 84, 1-13
English: World English Bible - WEB

84 For the Chief Musician. On an instrument of Gath. A Psalm by the sons of Korah. 1 How lovely are your dwellings, Yahweh of Armies! 2 My soul longs, and even faints for the courts of Yahweh. My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. 3 Yes, the sparrow has found a home, And the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young, Near your altars, Yahweh of Armies, my King, and my God. 4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house. They are always praising you. Selah. 5 Blessed are those whose strength is in you; Who have set their hearts on a pilgrimage. 6 Passing through the valley of Weeping, they make it a place of springs. Yes, the autumn rain covers it with blessings. 7 They go from strength to strength. Everyone of them appears before God in Zion. 8 Yahweh, God of Armies, hear my prayer. Listen, God of Jacob. Selah. 9 Behold, God our shield, Look at the face of your anointed. 10 For a day in your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, Than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. 11 For Yahweh God is a sun and a shield. Yahweh will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly. 12 Yahweh of Armies, Blessed is the man who trusts in you.

Veselje nad svetiščem

84

1 Zborovodju,
Psalm Korahovih sinov.
2 Kako ljuba so tvoja prebivališča,
GOSPOD nad vojskami!
3 Moja duša hrepeni, celo medli
po GOSPODOVIH dvorih,
moje srce in moje meso vriskata
k živemu Bogu.

4 Celo ptica si najde dom,
lastovka gnezdo zase,
kamor položi svoje mladiče,
pri tvojih oltarjih,
GOSPOD nad vojskami,
moj Kralj in moj Bog.
5 Blagor njim, ki stanujejo v tvoji hiši:
še te bodo smeli hvaliti.
6 Blagor človeku, čigar moč je v tebi,
v njegovem srcu so ceste.
7 Ko hodijo po dolini joka,
jo spreminjajo v kraj s studencem,
tudi zgodnji dež jo pokriva z blagoslovi.
8 Hodijo od hrabrosti do hrabrosti,
Bog bogov se pokaže na Sionu.

9 GOSPOD, Bog nad vojskami, usliši mojo molitev,
poslušaj, o Bog Jakobov!
10 Naš ščit, glej, o Bog,
ozri se na obraz svojega maziljenca!

11 Da, en dan v tvojih dvorih je boljši kakor tisoč drugih;
raje ostanem na pragu hiše svojega Boga,
kakor da bi stanoval v šotorih krivičnosti.
12 Zares, sonce in ščit je GOSPOD Bog,
milost in slavo daje GOSPOD,
ne odreka dobrine
tistim, ki hodijo v popolnosti.
13 GOSPOD nad vojskami,
blagor človeku, ki zaupa vate.
