11 It happened as he was on his way to Jerusalem, that he was passing along the borders of Samaria and Galilee.
12 As he entered into a certain village, ten men who were lepers met him, who stood at a distance.
13 They lifted up their voices, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
14 When he saw them, he said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” It happened that as they went, they were cleansed.
15 One of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice.
16 He fell on his face at Jesus’ feet, giving him thanks; and he was a Samaritan.
17 Jesus answered, “Weren’t the ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
18 Were there none found who returned to give glory to God, except this stranger?”
19 Then he said to him, “Get up, and go your way. Your faith has healed you.”

Jezus ozdravi deset gobavcev
11 Ko je potoval v Jeruzalem, je hodil med Samarijo in Galilejo. 12 Ko je prispel v neko vas, mu je prišlo naproti deset gobavih mož. Od daleč so se ustavili 13 in na ves glas govorili: »Jezus, Učenik, usmili se nas!« 14 Ko jih je zagledal, jim je rekel: »Pojdite in pokažite se duhovnikom!« In med potjo so bili očiščeni. 15 Ko je eden izmed njih videl, da je bil ozdravljen, se je vrnil in z močnim glasom slavil Boga. 16 Padel je na obraz pred njegove noge in se mu zahvaljeval; in ta je bil Samarijan. 17 Jezus pa je odgovoril: »Mar ni bilo deset očiščenih? Kje pa je onih devet? 18 Ali ni bilo nobenega drugega, da bi se vrnil in počastil Boga, razen tega tujca?« 19 In rekel mu je: »Vstani in pojdi! Tvoja vera te je rešila.«

1 Remind them to be in subjection to rulers and to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work,
2 to speak evil of no one, not to be contentious, to be gentle, showing all humility toward all men.
3 For we were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4 But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love toward mankind appeared,
5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,
6 which he poured out on us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior;
7 that, being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Dobra dela
1 Opozarjaj jih, naj bodo vladarjem in oblastem podrejeni, pokorni in pripravljeni za vsako dobro delo. 2 Naj nikogar ne preklinjajo, naj ne bodo prepirljivi, ampak prijazni; izkazujejo naj kar največjo krotkost vsem ljudem.
3 Saj smo bili tudi mi nekoč neumni, nepokorni in v zablodah. Stregli smo najrazličnejšim poželenjem in nasladam. Živeli smo v hudobiji in nevoščljivosti. Neznosni smo bili in sovražili drug drugega. 4 Ko pa sta se pojavili dobrota in človekoljubnost Boga, našega odrešenika, 5 nas je rešil, a ne zaradi del pravičnosti, ki bi jih storili mi, marveč po svojem usmiljenju, s kopeljo prerojenja in prenovitve po Svetem Duhu. 6 Tega je po našem odrešeniku Jezusu Kristusu obilno izlil na nas, 7 da bi, opravičeni po njegovi milosti, postali dediči večnega življenja, v katero upamo.

1 Yahweh is my shepherd:
I shall lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
3 He restores my soul.
He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me.
Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil.
My cup runs over.
6 Surely goodness and loving kindness shall follow me all the days of my life,
And I shall dwell in Yahweh’s house forever.

Dobri pastir in gostitelj
1 Davidov psalm.
GOSPOD je moj pastir,
nič mi ne manjka.
2 Na zelenih pašnikih mi daje ležišče;
k vodam počitka me vodi.
3 Mojo dušo poživlja,
vodi me po pravih stezah
zaradi svojega imena.
4 Tudi če bi hodil po globeli smrtne sence,
se ne bojim hudega, ker si ti z menoj,
tvoja palica in tvoja opora, ti me tolažita.
5 Pred mano pogrinjaš mizo
vpričo mojih nasprotnikov;
z oljem mi maziliš glavo,
moja čaša je prepolna.
6 Le dobrota in milina me bosta spremljali
vse dni mojega življenja;
prebival bom v hiši GOSPODOVI
vse dni življenja.
