Evangelij po Janezu Jn 2,13-22Jn 2,13-22

13 The Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14 He found in the temple those who sold oxen, sheep, and doves, and the changers of money sitting.
15 He made a whip of cords, and threw all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew their tables.
16 To those who sold the doves, he said, “Take these things out of here! Don’t make my Father’s house a marketplace!”
17 His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for your house will eat me up.”
18 The Jews therefore answered him, “What sign do you show us, seeing that you do these things?”
19 Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”
20 The Jews therefore said, “Forty-six years was this temple in building, and will you raise it up in three days?”
21 But he spoke of the temple of his body.
22 When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he said this, and they believed the Scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
Jezus očisti tempelj
13 Bližala se je judovska pasha in Jezus je šel v Jeruzalem. 14 V templju je našel prodajalce volov, ovc in golobov ter menjalce denarja, ki so sedeli tam. 15 In iz vrvi je spletel bič ter vse izgnal iz templja z ovcami in voli vred. Menjalcem je raztresel denar in prevrnil mize, 16 prodajalcem golobov pa rekel: »Spravite proč vse to in iz hiše mojega Očeta ne delajte tržnice!« 17 Njegovi učenci so se spomnili, da je pisano: Gorečnost za tvojo hišo me použiva. 18 Judje so mu rekli: »Kakšno znamenje nam pokažeš, ker takó delaš?« 19 Jezus jim je odgovoril in rekel: »Podrite ta tempelj in v treh dneh ga bom postavil.« 20 Judje so tedaj rekli: »Šestinštirideset let so zidali ta tempelj, ti pa ga boš postavil v treh dneh?« 21 On pa je govoril o templju svojega telesa. 22 Ko je bil obujen od mrtvih, so se njegovi učenci spomnili, da je govoril o tem, in verovali so Pismu in besedi, ki jo je rekel Jezus.

| 6 Kralj Salomon in ves Izraelov zbor, ki se je zbral ob njem pred skrinjo, je daroval toliko drobnice in goveda, da ju zaradi množine niso mogli ne prešteti ne izmeriti. 7 Potem so duhovniki skrinjo GOSPODOVE zaveze prinesli na njeno mesto, v notranje svetišče hiše, v presveto, pod peruti kerubov. 8 Keruba sta razprostirala peruti nad mestom, kjer je stala skrinja, tako da sta keruba krila skrinjo in njena drogova od zgoraj. 9 Drogova sta bila tako dolga, da je bilo njuna konca videti iz svetišča pred notranjim svetiščem, od zunaj pa ju ni bilo videti. Tam sta ostala do tega dne. 10 V skrinji ni bilo drugega kakor dve tabli, ki ju je bil vanjo položil Mojzes pod Horebom, ko je GOSPOD sklenil zavezo z Izraelovimi sinovi ob izhodu iz Egipta. |
| 13 so trobentači in pevci enodušno in skladno zapeli v slavo in zahvalo GOSPODU. Kakor hitro je zadonel glas trobent, cimbal in drugih glasbil v čast GOSPODU,
»ker je dober,
ker vekomaj traja njegova dobrota«,
je hišo, GOSPODOVO hišo, napolnil oblak, 14 tako da duhovniki zaradi oblaka niso mogli pristopiti, da bi opravili bogoslužje. Kajti GOSPODOVO veličastvo je napolnilo Božjo hišo.

1 Tedaj je Salomon rekel: »GOSPOD je rekel, da hoče prebivati v temnem oblaku. 2 In jaz sem ti sezidal veličastno hišo, mesto, kjer boš prebival na veke.«

Prošnja za mir v Jeruzalemu
1 Davidova stopniška pesem.
Veselil sem se, ko so mi rekli:
»V GOSPODOVO hišo pojdemo.«
2 Naše noge so se ustavile
ob tvojih vratih, Jeruzalem.
3 Jeruzalem, pozidan kot mesto,
ki je v sebi hkrati sklenjeno,
4 tja se vzpenjajo rodovi,
GOSPODOVI rodovi;
pričevanje za Izraela je,
da slavi ime GOSPODOVO.
5 Zares, tam so postavljeni sodni prestoli,
prestoli za Davidovo hišo.
6 Prosite za mir v Jeruzalemu:
tisti, ki te ljubijo, naj živijo v miru;
7 mir naj bo med tvojimi zidovi,
varnost v tvojih palačah.
8 Zaradi svojih bratov in prijateljev
bom vendar dejal: »Mir naj vlada v tebi.«
9 Zaradi hiše GOSPODA, našega Boga,
bom iskal blaginjo zate.

9 For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s farming, God’s building.
10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But let each man be careful how he builds on it.
11 For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or stubble;
13 each man’s work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man’s work is.
16 Don’t you know that you are a temple of God, and that God’s Spirit lives in you?
17 If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are.
| 9 Božja sodelavca sva, vi pa ste Božja njiva in Božja zgradba.
10 Po Božji milosti, ki mi je bila dana, sem kot moder gradbenik položil temelj, drug pa zida naprej. Vsak pa naj gleda, kako zida naprej. 11 Drugega temelja namreč nihče ne more položiti namesto tistega, ki je že položen, in ta je Jezus Kristus. 12 Če pa kdo na tem temelju zida zlato, srebro, dragocene kamne, les, seno ali slamo - 13 delo vsakega bo postalo vidno. Razkril ga bo namreč dan, ker se bo razodel z ognjem, in ogenj bo preizkusil, kakšno je delo tega ali onega.

16 Mar ne veste, da ste Božji tempelj in da Božji Duh prebiva v vas? 17 Če pa kdo Božji tempelj uničuje, bo Bog uničil njega. Božji tempelj je namreč svet, in to ste vi.
