29 He said, “Come!” Peter stepped down from the boat, and walked on the waters to come to Jesus. ³⁰ But when he saw that the wind was strong, he was afraid, and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” ³¹ Immediately Jesus stretched out his hand, took hold of him, and said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?”

In Peter je stopil iz čolna, hodil po vodi in šel k Jezusu. 30 Ko pa je videl, da je veter močan, se je zbal. Začel se je potapljati in je zavpil:

»Gospod, reši me!«

31 Jezus je takoj iztegnil roko, ga prijel in mu dejal:

»Malovernež, zakaj si podvomil?”
